Are you refering to the short whipsaw trades that I warned everyone will happen from time to time? I even put it on the chart, it's no secret. But if you play the system right, trades held for long periods will outgain the losses of the 'repaints'. And as you can see the next trade after was a 200 pip gain, cancelling everything out.

This system looks for long trade, not perfect entries that allow one to take a 30 pip profit. Quite frankly I could care less about taking that small of a profit. I like to let them run.

Hi,

still not getting the emails - I get an error message that it failed to send the alert - also - it may be me but mine only trades on the eur chf for seome reason even though I have it active on more pairs.

One last thing - no sl or tp - anyway to insert those or is it being worked on and I didn't see it?

btw - look at GBP JPY and USD JPY for perfect examples of how many pips this system can make....

Just tell me what you mean by repainting. This system only gives an arrow when the 18 EMA crosses the 45 EMA. No more, no less. If there is an arrow, then there is a new signal. If there are 3 arrows in a row. Up-Down-Up, then there were 3 crosses. Let's get this cleared up.

Anwayz, what method do u trade right now? The one on the first post of this thread or did u modify it? If u did modify it, can u please tell what u modified? thnx!

Sorry to bother u.I got the EA in the expert folder but cant attach it to the chart.Another thing i need u to clear is that,doest the EA function like the Universal EA posted earlier on the thread apart from the fact that it alarts you so u could move in at the start of the trend?.

The way I use it to receive an email alert to notify me when there has been a crossover of the 2 ema's. I don't like trying to jump on a moving train, better to get on at the beginning of a run.

It's pretty simple actually. MA1 would be 18 (in this case) and MA2 would be 45. MA1Mode and MA2Mode would both be 1 to signify that we are using ema's. MA1Price and MA2Price would be 0 to denote using the price at the close of the bar.

Alert and email functions are self-expalnatory. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

You are correct except that it is an indicator, not an EA.

1.Can i adapt the indicator to any moving average of my choice?

Yes...you can use any MA's you like.

There is no manual that I know of, it is pretty self-explanatory.
