i go long at 1.4720 tp:1.4745 sl:1.5690
r:r near1
i'v sl and tp nadia
now my sl is below the low i can put it below the trendline near 1.4705 am i right?
please help me with ur comments

please keep style in h4 cause in h1 very dangerous.if u see chart below ,price get support 8 ema,canddle pattern not showing and we have ressitance 1.4746 so for me waitng for lower high in macd pattern or break in 1.4746 then wait for TC in h4.keep practice in h4 .okk

i close it -10pips after a huge m5 red candle and breking my TL,every thing looked good ,also it was a triangle break up

. When I was working with one lot, it was easy to figure out the R:R rule, but I felt and saw that some trades had much more potential then I took.
So, the idea to work with partial profits was a solution. But, I didn't like that when the SL was hit, it was double. I too can't watch my trades live most of the time, so it happened quite often. When I was back I saw that the price usually went +20 or +25 to my side and then turned around and my double SL was hit. And you always say don't let +30 pips become a loss. But how to protect yourself if you are not there?
So, I started to do it the way you do, and I really like this idea to cover myself up. My results became much better after that, and I feel more comfortable when my trade is at b/e as I loose nothing.
But, that's where my consern began
. You really understood me Phillip. I saw that when my full SL was hit, it usaully was much bigger than profit, not the potential profit of this particular trade, but than other deals closed in profit. Very often my first TP (+25) is hit on one lot and the second lot closes at b/e. So if I had such 3 deals in a row I would be +75, and then loss comes, let's say -33 on two lots -66 - that was my consern!
So the solution is - to have a high hit rate, if you manage your trades this way. And I also like idea to devide SL. It has never come to my mind! Really, I can have one SL -25 and TP +25 on one lot, and let's say SL -37 and TP + 45 or more on the second. I will test this way and see how it works.
And of course, you are absolutely right that everyone has to work out his own way and each trade must be treated separately. I'm just trying to find my way - and thank you so much for helping me!

Hi all and happy new year!
I entered long (12:10 gmt+1) at 1,4766 rhythm was bullish price in uptrend channel started since 31th of december and just closed with a long white candle with a long lower tail. Macd showed TC and 1 hour chart confirmed at first the uptrend.
So i went long with 2 minilots
Buy 1,4766
SL 1,4726 ( a bit lower 61,8% last candle)
TP1 1,4784 (r2)
TP2 1,4844 (r3)
R/R > 1
As a newbie i'll be glad for comments and advices from expert guys in here.

post the chart with your entry point...
for post the chart in metatrader.. file you can save as image (salva come immagine) the chart. then for adding comment or other open it with a paint program.
