lol, just took a look in our old thread there's alot of infighting going on in there, seems like there leader took a vacation and no one knows what to do.

Because it is NOT meant to be scientific, professional or even valuable. It's just about "talks, gossips, rumours & fun" as you should be able to figure out via the title

Here is a valuable, scientific and professional clue about this market, buddy: when it's all said, written and done in this forum, you're out there in the jungle alone trying to figure out how you're getting your next meal.

I look at both threads too, and the fact is, that things have changed in the cable thread...especially when there is name calling, so on and so for....do we honestly need that???

Aren't we all trying to accomplsih the same goal???

So then why can't we accept that everyone is different and has their own way of doing things????

As far as this thread being "professional" or "scientific" if you look at the heading of this thread I think it speaks for itself.

There is enough stress just trying to tackle this forex market so why not have some fun.....

December 27, 2007 -- MOVE over, banks, it's time for hedge funds to worry about subprime loans and such.
"They haven't been under the same pressure as public companies to own up" to problems, said Chris Whalen, who runs The Institutional Risk Analyst newsletter.
But with the year's end upon us, the hedgies will now be 'fessing up and reporting problems to clients.
And Whalen thinks hedge funds could have much greater susceptibility to bad derivatives than the banks that have been hogging the headlines these past few months.
In fact, some hedge funds could be at the mercy of the hemorrhaging financial institutions that sold them the derivatives.
Hedge funds could have 70 cents of every $1 of derivative securities sitting on their books. The 30 cents remaining on the books of Wall Street institutions in many cases represent just the remnants of unsold securities.
You might have noticed that Wall Street firms have been taking billions in write-offs for bad loans in the past six months.
As I've written before, part of the reason for these huge hits is that banks - which often own brokerage firms - can no longer absolve their outside auditors of mistakes. As such, auditing firms have probably been playing hardball with write-offs.
Will financial institutions be equally hard on the hedge funds that bought derivatives from them? I don't know. But "if the broker tells a hedge fund to write it off, the hedge fund is dead," Whalen said.

Isn't it? But then, Cesarns you could have easily stayed with the originial thread. That's what I wanted to tell you, I see no difference in the quality of both threads, and, in my opinion, the old one is perhaps more amusing than your thread. Just my opinion. Naturally humorists like Moe may be of different thinking but the result will still be the same...

Bad news is actually good news JanPoko. The amount of my posts and their humour have dramatically decreased since I start trading 2 strategies only, which requires no intervention. But the amount of winning started soaring since then.

So I just quit those super-stressiful 24/7 posting/trading/jokes/losing/winning/shouting/cursing/drinking/smoking that was driving me crazy here...

Bottom line, what I've read so much across this forum is the raw truth: you must have your stategy, trade accordingly, no overtrading. That "long" - "now short" - "now damn it" - "bullish pattern in the 1 min chart!!!" cannot and will not take us anywhere.

Brokers would hate to read these lines though :
