I've not had any issues with IBFX. they do and most of them do increase the spread during news events and you see gaps. I personally dont trade the news, so I've never faced the issues that you're mentioning. Dont know much about other brokers. The other broker I use is FXCM and they seem to be fine as well. Again, i dont trade during the news time.

I got 50 pips today. I set my target a little lower today because I wasn't sure how the market was going to react after the holidays.

The target of 100 pips would have been hit today easily.

Thanks for your help on EA, it does not show any errors, could you please help on how it works.

1. Do I have to leave it on and not touch it, will it everyday look at the range start/End, times and take profit or loss, and close the EA, and reset it self for a trade next day?

2. Or do I have to turn on the EA manually very day at start time?

If non correct please advice how you trade the EA

once it is set up properly it will keep executing trades so long as your MT4 platform is open with an internet connection

Hi Natejax,

If I want to start it for the first time is there a set rule I have to perform. AS you say if its setup properly, what do you mean by that, I have not changed any variables, and its on winter settings.

When I open first time is there a certain time I have to start it?

due to the fact tha the target is high or to a total and brutal changement of trend?

I'm waiting for it too. Justin from EFX has stated on another thread that live traders like me would get the remote trader by January. Eventually we can trade from the chart as well.

So far, I like EFX, the spread is really so tight. Of course they charge commission, but it's worth it. They won't let you hedge though but allow you to have 2 accounts. Support is excellent.

There's no MT, that's my main beef.

Well today, I got profit.

If you mean Nicotina loss in general -- it's usually because of reversal of trend as you say. 100 pip target is for me not very high for GBP/JPY.

I would say, 100-200 weekly for this month. Some studies are done retrospectively by another poster, you might have to find it on this thread.

Saaed just provided the EA for Nicotina, but both are the same. My online broker (EFX) does not have MT, and so I can't use Saaed's EA except for Demo on IBFX. Original Nicotina is about GBP/JPY but is now expanded to other pairs.

You can say that, but nothing is certain. For now, it's working and it's so simple.
