I would SELL FROM BOUNCE when it touched 1.9800 area. Too bad my Platform still HANG OVER from the holiday Target should be 1.9650.

p/s: I see 1.9878 will be the Significance RESISTANCE if the BULL manage to break 1.9840 Resistance.

About the economic analysis, I think I am not any better than you or the others here. But it just happens that I used to have one ear on the ground, sometimes I got feedback from people like you, those on the ground. It’s good to have confirmation from people like you who are actually feel and smell the industry. So I think Sham or the others will not mind people talking on what is happening to the industry. It’s a good way to exchange information. But before I finish, I just want to go back a little bit to the “making analysis”, I think we should be worry if we make good analysis, fundamentally or technically, but our action does not reflect the analysis done. I believe this is one of those common reasons people lose money. Happy new year to you.

p/s: I was in shanghai end of last year, development is like crazy especially pudong, huangpu and etc. But the outskirt is just another 3rd world country scene. Imbalances in economics activities are rampant. In shanghai, in less than 45 minutes, I once saw three Lamborghini passed by but the outskirt is still smeared with squatters.

It’s good to also trade different market so that we don’t get married to only one market for you know the “just-in-case situation”. Watch as many markets yes, but to actually trade all could be a little bit tough for me. I also love gold or anything to do with oil or energy…brent, crude light, heating oil, you name it… On the index, I will avoid index as far as I can because it’s a cumulative of all companies or industries. I found it difficult for me to have the thorough and accurately understanding of this kind of market. Another thing is about risk, I have almost similar risk tolerance like you do (I think). But just to be fair to all those that have higher risk tolerance as I have seen people having risk as high as 30% in one trade but of course with a huge account and very selective in the selection of market to be traded and time to enter. Their position is so large (sometimes need to be break into multiple positions) and a mere 20-50 pips are considered equivalent to a week or even month of my profits. This commensurate with the risk they have taken. Some people can have high percentage of wining trade like 70% win to 30% lose and some may have 50-50 or even 40-60. But personally I think the way we handle the 30% or 50% or 40% down time will determine how long we will survive in trading. Happy new year to you.

Buying cable seems better for now if you get in range around 1.9770 , might hit 1.9800 - 19820 area and will get out and go for short after that.

Selling it would be a good thinking. Looking at the degree of ascent, the steeper it gets, the deeper it may correct. So I also think this pair is not done yet. The only thing is that just these few days and coming few days may represent the classic example of one of the market risk, risk of limited liquidity. I think I would try to pass the temptation to short this one by finishing my papaya breakfast.

For me... Good Expensive Price to SELL FROM BOUNCE are 1.9808, 1.9840 and 1.9878. The good TARGET should be 1.9650 that should be reached by tomorrow or Friday depending on the NEWS. If the BULL go beyond 1.9878... I'll Stop SFB and OVERHAUL my TA and FA to see opportunity of Buy From Dip.... OR... continue SFB

1st SELL FROM BOUNCE triggered. No SL as I already placed PO Buy Stop above 1.9840 Resistance. Planning to HEDGE this one if this SFB Entry not a good one. If the Bull penetrate the Resistance... chances to shoot up until 1.9878 is there. Ultimately CABLE must DROP DOWN as the IR CUT is IMMINENT.

p/s: Just have to be careful about the PRICED IN factor and US economic data.

i m from malaysian too.. part time trader.. just use bill william trading system and simple elliot wave

wokeh next time .. i willing post signal from choas + ntd b.w for GU and GJ

It's me who SPECIALIZE in CABLE... ZUL in UJ... SAVANT can talk about UsdCad... and others...

In the end... all of these pairs are interconnected to each other and it's good to have some rough idea about them all rather than concentrating to 1 single pair only. I am trading on CABLE only but I am also not neglecting the information about other pairs too.

Good to have you here. Hope to hear from you soon regarding some new strategies and techniques to this thread
