CPI 2.1%, not much deviation of the forecast....

GU is just crawling at the weekly trendline.

This is going to need some major event otherwise, it will be around here for a while.

I thought a strong CPI would be enough for the rebound here. But the SOB HAD to come below forecast.

Yeah.. a strong CPI surely will boost cable up again. But below forecast means no more hike for a while. With US coming out with a strong CPI. The odds are shifting a bit to the favor of the bear here imho.

Going long from this level surely will give a great R:R ratio. But so far the news still not showing any support to go up. Tomorrows MPC should be interesting to watch. Although with those New Yorkers already out for Christmas holiday sooner than expected :, i wont be suprised if we end this week with a doji.

The problem is that GU can pierce this trendline all the way down but close above of it, what would not declare it breached. So the entry at this level is a real art.

I think a good entry would be above 0225 on the way back up, if such. Not anticipating a rebound right here...
