A 1H TF gives price all the room it wants to keep going.
A 15 M TF gets you out with existing profit a lot quicker when price bobbles down.

DislikedMaybe I new to work a little more on my exit strategy, but take profit are excluded from the exit strategy, we never now how much the trend is going to last, I say that I may need to rework my exit strategy because of the pips the system produces, and the pips that I put in my pocket.
Here is an example
In January the system gave 2370 pips, and only 1170 went to my pocket
February it gave 2073 and 915 on my pocket
March is the one that gives me the more headaches 4350 pips produced, and only 1600 in my pocket.
Any suggestions?Ignored

DislikedI traded stocks this way. I used Bill William's alligator system, which calls for adding positions as your profits from your initial position increases.
It didn't work for me.
Too often I would turn a profitable trade into a loser. The original positions would be in profit but when the market turned the top positions would lose enough to nullify all or most of the profit.
If you think about it, it isn't logical to do that.
If you go long, you believe you are buying low and that price will go up. You believe you are getting in at a good price. As price increases, there is less and less reason to buy because the entrance price is getting worse.Ignored
DislikedHi, thanks for sharing your system. I have some questions that I hope you resolve me.
1. Does the spread included in the 75 Pips SL?
2. I have seen in your progress Journal that sometimes you enter at 6:00 and London opens at 7:00. Can you explain me this?
3. Look at the capture. The indicator Gann HiLo get some different results to your capture. What Metatrader broker are you using?
Muito obrigado.

DislikedWhen to get out of a trade is the biggest riddle in trading.
You didn't do too bad. It looks like you kept roughly 1/2 of the max.Ignored

DislikedI have a question too, about example 4, because doing like in example 4, you were stoped sooner in example 3, witch one is right?
I understood too that the part that is missing from the PDF is explaining why that happens.
ThanksIgnored
Disliked3 and 4 are both right. They are showing two different scenarios. They aren't related to each other.
#3 illustrates that inside bars are not counted. a and b are both inside bars. They are inside the range of bar2.
# 4 has no inside bars to be considered.
I don't know what the part that is missing explains. I don't have it.Ignored
Disliked"While day-b is not normally considered an inside-day because it traded...) (perhaps higher than day (a), that's what I think)
but if it was counted the trade would be stop sooner, just didn't figured yet why he says that, but never mind, I understood it in a different way in the beginning.
And was counting from the 3 highest bars that braked the value of the last high bar, and placed trailing stop 15 pips below it.
Its simpler way to use it too, but perhaps not so effective, but I also got the notion that if I did it strictly as it says, I was going to get stop sooner a lot of times.
Correct me if I'm wrongIgnored
