does anybody know how come next door thread (bg straddle)is locked and atached file disappeared?

I am looking for this EA but I need this EA to open buy and sell positions at the time I specific.

Once the time arrived, will open several positions on buy and sell I specific. The price would be market price.

Exit target and stop loss is specific.

Quantity - Fixed and programmed
Price - Market price
Exit target/Stop loss
Buy/Sell - Buy and Sell
No. Positions to open - fixed and programmed
Time to buy/sell - fixed and programmed


Which version is suitable for this?

Here is a screenshot of me testing to see if the EA is working. It would appear so, but I don't see any orders in the orders list. I do see them spelled out in the upper left hand corner. Is this what I should see? Will they only execute once price hits those level and then show in my orders list?
--The picture is not so clear, but it appears to me that your EA is disabled. There should be a smiling face at the upper right corner at the chart instead of a X. If it is a X, click the Expert Advisor icon in the bar at the top of your MT4 platform or go to tools-->options-->Expert Advisor and then check enable Expert Advisor and also uncheck the two options below (disable Expert Advisor when...) After you have done the above, if the EA face is still not smiling but appear sad, right click it and go to properties and check allow live trading. Hope this helps and good luck!

Straddle EA for news trade , which version to update?
Hi bros,
i need an ea or script as a part of Philips' method
it will open two trades at the same time
and one trade will close as soon as it reaches 25 pips profit
at that time when it reaches 25 pips profit, than the other trades stop will move to breakeven
is it hard?

3 consecutive posts from 3 different persons all with their first ever post in this forum and it is about straddle the news
first if you are lucky you need a broker to allow you trade that way.
then it is a dangerous way to trade, you need to be very experienced in this type of trading, know what news to trade and how much each news have potential to move the market, and something very important is what pair to trade at each particular time of news, and have iron nerves, one wrong click you will see your account wiped out.

It may take a few blown mini accounts for that to sink in though.

I have a problem with the Money Management section of this EA:
Now the code is as follows:

What basically happens is that if you have 10% risk, the EA will trade 10% of your balance. e.g. with $1000,- it will trade 1 lot.
But, if your stoploss is 20 pips, you will risk $200 and that is 20% of your account.

I want to risk only 10% of my account taking in consideration the SL settings, and make it a max drawdown instead.

The formula to do this is:
lots=(AccountFreeMargin*(RiskPercent/100))/SL

When I change the code to:
lot=NormalizeDouble(MathFloor((AccountFreeMargin()*RiskPercent/100)/SL)/100,1);

the EA doesn't place the order.

What is wrong? Can you code to adjust this?

EDIT: The error message I get is: "invalid lots amount for OrderSend function"
Okay, I want to bring this one up again.

I also want to have an option to place an extra order when one of the stop orders has been hit.

For instance: I set my straddle for 60 pips TP. But I speculate that it is likely that it will go to 100 pips. For that I want and extra order where no TP has been set.

This happens a lot on the GBP where the initial news triggers 60 pips and the after trade goes to 200 pips.

How can we do that?
anyone tried using this to trade CRUDE spikes?

Hello, I am trying to get the AmazingEA to work. My problem is the fact that i set the timer in the amazingEA settings to my PC clocks settings which still didnt trigger the buy/sell. So i tried to use the timer on the MT4, that still didnt work. Does anyone know the awnser to this simple problem? Thanks for your help!!!

I'm having the same problem. In my case, the time setting has worked the first day and never worked after that. The same thing has happend on another broker, too. So maybe brokers already started to realize that there is a money making EA and try to stop it with their software code.

Could anybody tell me if there is non-time sensitive straddle EA? I would like to place two pending orders at a time by manually initiating the EA 5 to 10 seconds before the news time. Here are what I need.

1. Pleace pending orders immediately after "Expert Advisors" button is turned on.

2. OCO when either one pending order is hit.

3. Max loss.

4. Trailing Stop
(I would prefer trailing stop only, but others may want to use 1st TP, 2nd TP, and 3rd TP)

There is an EA called Straddle&Trail that can place pending orders immediately after the EA is attached to the chart, however, this one keeps placing pending orders repeatedly right after TP is hit (when there's no pending order on the chart). I don't know why the author of this EA created such repeat feature. This repeat feature forces you in another trade even after the spike moment is over unless you turn off or remove the EA (but by removing the EA, trailing stop and TP are also removed). I just want to finish up my trading once the spike is over so this repeat feature is competely unnecessary.

Does anyone know such EA, or modify any EA to suit my need? Or, can anybody simply disable the repeat function of Straddle&Trail?

This EA is great, but would you like to add some more paramater :

1. If one either pending sell/buy stop order triggered, then the other pending order is closed. (true or false)
2. the triggered pending order will be closed after certain minutes (e.g 5 minutes).
3. All pending order will be closed after certain minutes (e.g 5 minutes)

I just got the idea, I am really blind of MT4/ EA scripting

Please help.
