Important NEWS in 10 mins time in the UK !!! Will be placing PO soon on CABLE. Never knows... CRAZY UNEXPECTED SURPRISE data would come out. Bias on the BEAR of course... hmmmm seems like PRICED IN already... 2.0400 just broke :surprised

I did sell 1 minute before the news... BECAUSE so sure of the BAD data. TP got hit... easily banked in USD250 in less than 5mins

Bad news for me, just noticed by bank account hijacked for nearly $10,000.
Very upset. Can't believe it.

Your bank acc got hijacked How come? You are talking about BANK acc or Trading acc?

If BANK acc... surely they can trace the beneficiary acc number.

Can u give me some opnions on gj?I just open a long position and target 100 pips for gj do u think its relevant.Cause i saw a retrace and today is triple interest day i think someone going to m,ove the market.What do u think sry for bothering u cause i think u r quite an experience trader so just wanna seek ur opinion.

What I meant by slippage is for example, I put in a buy entry order (or buy PO as you called it) at 2.0400 but gets filled in at 2.0450. So I miss out about 50 pip profit right there. Does your broker do this as well?

I don't trade GJ mate. The best shot I can give is... you'll need to wait until STARTING BELL for US Stocks Market to open. DJI might have influence on CARRY TRADE. If Dow Jones Drop today... further south for GJ possible. If DJI bullish... GJ might have trouble to go UP because GU halting it. This subjected to the strength of the US Dollar when US open. You better seek others advice since I haven't trade GJ for such a long time.

maybe its ur spread is too big...u should try other broker...its not a big problem...

The slippage is unavoidable. When news release... sudden move of the price sometimes too quick for the server to captured and triggered your pending order at the exact price. Just the same if you click BUY or SELL during the release... there will be lots of requotes because the price keep on moving fast. Even worse last time before WWW was created... order by phone!!! Can you imagine the slippage

To avoid this... sometimes I do extensive FA to speculate the NEWS. Let say tomorrow BOE gonna announce new IR. If I speculate that RATE CUT is eminent... I'll already place SHORT in advance before the release with tight SL. Then I'll set PO BUY STOP at the Short SL.

Thanks. At least I know that slippage happens with most brokers and not my broker alone. I doubt there's any broker where slippage doesn't happen, otherwise we'll all be millionaires by trading news alone!

As for tonight I think CABLE gonna be ranging between RED 0.0% Fibbo and Blue 161.8% Fibbo. Tomorrow might be possible to drop further to 261.8% Fibbo extension or even more South if BOE Cut the IR. If BOE fixed the IR... we might see 2.0600 or 2.0700 tomorrow.

After the ADP news, USDJPY is shooting up, and GBPUSD shooting down, and the GBPJPY is dancing up and down. What a hard pair to trade.......
