First, become passionate about trading. You need to put time in the Forex market place researching currency pair action and become understanding on how currency pairs behave. Remember this – “Winning traders love studying Forex”. Forex traders who become consistently profitable love what they are doing.

One area which will help you become a winner is the ability to critique yourself. You must be able to admit your mistakes, study your mistakes, and then, most importantly, move on from your mistake. One of the “MUST” characteristics of a winning trader is not to be afraid of being wrong. Also, you must evaluate your performance after each and every session in order to improve. Welcome negative criticism from your mentors as their feedback to your trading is golden. Understand that all traders, no matter what level, must have a mentor to help them become better. Feedback is good thing because it allows you to gauge where you are at as far as your trading and where you need to go next.

Winning traders are humble, and they know that no trader is bigger than the Forex. Putting your ego aside and go where the markets take you requires courage and strength, but again, winning traders will do anything to win, even admit that their intelligence is not enough to succeed.

You must not let losing trades make you afraid of trading. You can not be a successful trading with fear of lose running through your head. I am not saying that you have to “like” losing money, but instead, take your losing trades study them and figure out why you lost the trade. Was it a bad entry point? Perhaps you bought into a resistance level or sold into a support level. Find out “WHY” and then make it a intellectual challenge to yourself to become a better trader by learning from your losses.

Enjoy the search for new strategies and feel a great sense of accomplishment while you work hard to find the secrets to trading under all conditions. At times, you will face losing trade after losing trade and unless you have a strong desire to win, you will feel beaten down after each setback. But if you are willing to do whatever it takes to win, you will not only become a consistent profitable trader, you will become A WINNER!!!

i am not offended, simply using my strategy for a last 5 years.89ema is what hedge fund using,Imrans sytem can be incorporatedwith long term.how many successful trades you need to make on 5M to have lets say 500pips,while i make it with 2 trades without emotion.for me scalping is good for 10-12 pips most (i dont trade g/j) my point is,if you dont know whats long term chart shows you will not be a good trader.these emas is there for a reason but unfortunatly there are people not even sure how to draw trendlines but want to make a 100 pips a day.one more thing:do you think proffesional traders whom trade millions just go by indicators pointing somewhere.When you trade for a living you need to consider a lot of factors.i will not make any reference
other than Imrans indicators

Great posting by Imrans,my thoughts about losing is this: I never lose money ,on bad trades i am only lending it to forex.hope you understand what attitude you need to be a good trader

great job you doing all the way,i think its better if i send you my email since it pointed out that new stuff will confuse new traders,i have to agree with it.a quick market view whoever watching eu/usd the pair is in 1.4720-80 range and today the 3. time the pair is not weak enough to break 1.4720 (lot of stop underneath that area) if london session cant break it new york wont either keep in mind this is the last day of the month big corporations closing their books so unexpected move can happen.price breaks the upside (1.4780)it will possibly go to 1.4840 ,also dailys thicking south so today is not for new traders dont forget, staying in aside is a position also!

It isn't that amazing. Price tends to revert to the mean so it's not surprising it sometimes appears to be supported by a moving average. Sometime, on the other hand, it will break through and you'll be left scratching your head why your "amazing" EMA didn't help you.

thanks i am trying.this chart is a naked trade means using fibs and emas and market sentiment no indicators.i have to admit this is not for everyone,only for educational purposes.price is at 61.80 level also breaking through 200 (white line) not so much a sience to go long for a few pips profit.euro is weak to make 161.80 level.its gathering steam that is for sure but not likely to burst today

I was just looking over my charts and noticed, due to longer trends we haven't had as many perfect setups the last day or so on 5 minute time frame... so I noticed this picture perfect setup (in hind sight :-)) on the 30 minute GJ chart, and thought I'd share. No, I didn't take these setups, although I did profit some from both runs.
