Hi. can someone explain to me this situation:
If I long USD/JPY, and the market goes up, which one is the correct answer?
1) USD becomes stronger, JPY becomes stronger too
2) USD becomes stronger, JPY weaker
3) USD weaker, JPY stronger
4) USD and JPY both weakening
5) Tiada satu pun di atas :-p
I'm confused. I know this is a silly question but... never shy to ask if U wanna be succesful right? heheh. thanks

Yep... if referring to the chart with below H1 time frame... it's all NOISE. Hard to find TREND using M30, M15, M5 even worst M1. Unless if you ZOOM OUT to the maxWhen I 1st started trading I was like you... scared of the "NOISE"... and only use H1 and above. However, if you know how to turn the disadvantage to ADVANTAGE... that's a bonus point. I hate scalping before this... somehow now... I kinda like it because of the 20 wma and 30 sma technique and it's profitable so far. I guess my skill is EVOLVING. I only use smaller time frame to ENTER at a better price.
Anyway... I am delighted to have you in here. Now newbies can learn short term and long term trading.

about the time frame..its all about preference..both you and me have our preference. i prefer longer one as i am the type of taking my own sweet time. i believe i dont have to rush anything, if i miss a trade,there always will be second bus for me...it is always good to have confirmation like waiting for the close of the day etc but if i saw what i want to see or a setup, i will never look back. better leave some money on the table than get burn.. erm when i got the setup, like you i tend to go down to smaller timeframe to get my best price..bargain price (Malaysian loves to do that
). many years ago, i was also sitting there analysing all these indicators and decorated my chart like a Xmas tree. but not anymore as i less and less depending to my indicator as i believe trading using price alone (plus the X factor) is sufficient. as not that it is not useful but...you know..i am getting lazy and lazy..anyway, if there is a chance, we'll discuss this too.

Profit taking day... CRAZY THINGS COULD HAPPEN. In the RANGING market... most TA don't work properly because most TA are made for TRENDING market or REVERSAL market. Perhaps... SCALPERS heaven... they love this.

in this world, it's hard to run from interest whether from your car, house, credit card etc². i doubt you can pay cash all the way....
