Aaragorn, Thank you for your candor. I am not the brains behind the programming of our EA's. I work directly with our programming team to develop trading systems for our private foundation to use. We are methodical programmers, testers and traders. We have to be and want to be, in order to excel in our pursuits. We will move slowly as well and have other priorities from time to time as you do. We will take everything we learn here and try to make the EA happen for the good of the group and to serve our own worthy pursuits. We love doing this type of stuff and it gives us pleasure to give back using our talents. I am not working directly with Imran as you are but I get the just of the indicators and trade setups. Again we are only looking the the "perfect" trade from this system therefore our EA may look different from yours when all is said and done.

always look at the higher TF, i cant stress it enough,for example price stopped at around 1.4720-25 on 5M TF it was under 60 ema i still went long because price found support on 4H TF at 89ema and it bounced.now if you only look it small TF you cant see the big pictures.on higher TF emas a lot more important.emas react to price action because banks and hedge funds also watching them you can bet on it.so study price action around them but dont trade just cross overs.

Thank you for your willing to banter this around with me. The lag indicator is a new indicator for me, all the others I'm very familliar with. So if I understand you correctly (please correct me if I'm mistaken) you place a good deal of weight on the lag indicator even putting it first in your decision pathway.

I have been doing multiple time frame analysis for some time and that makes a lot of sense to me. What I would like to know is how you do your decision pathway across multiple time frames using this system?

you need to put S/R lines on 4h and daily chart draw trendlines also,now go back to your favorit tf like 5M. once price reached one of these areas and emas are not in the way on higher tf then take a shot.of course it takes patience sometime ,dont just jump in.what i am trying to experiment that use higher tf to find my entry than pinpoint it on 5M using Imrans indicators,does it make any sense?well im working on it

I look at all the aspects of price action and the angle of ema .

To go Long , i look at the below sequence on 5 min chart

1. I look if price is below or above 60 ema.
2. I look at the blue Lag if its crossed 0.15 and same time notice where the blue lag is on the 1 min and 15 min red lag location - prefered if its either flat for extended period or is moving up , i would prefer to go long if the 1 min blue lag is at the same lower position as 5 min.
3. If MACD has made a crossover
4. Angle of the middle bollinger band
5. Stoch histo has changed to positive
and last but not the least, what has been the price action prior to this move , like how many pips was the last move down.
I look at the position of the pivots where the current price , for e.g, is the price below a resistance or support.

Vice Versa for Short
