The reasons why these patterns occur, as with Elliott Waves and others, is simply that currencies hit specific barriers on the Absolute Fibonacci Framework in fairly predictable ways....
The framework is there; we just have to work on our frame of mind.

Nice one! You are right of course, and it's something I tell everyone as well (that it's dynamic and ever-changing, not the vodka bit!).

The fact is though, that the patterns are fractal in nature, so it is important that you can identify which fractal the currency is moving on at any time. And you can, very simply.
The framework is there; we just have to work on our frame of mind.

If you can do that (the any time part) then you are the first. My experience is that although there is always a fractal present, it is not always possible to find it each and every time. That is unless that is the only thing you set out to do and are not concerned about anything else like oh ..... trading.

Fractals in the form of EW's can be spotted about half of the time and the rest of the time there is chop. I say to hell with X,Y,Z waves. Again my point is to trade and not label every twist and turn.

Yes, I am the first, or so it seems. No-one else seems to have come up with this.

EWs form on the Framework. The waves form at points of resistance on the Framework. the fact that there are 'waves within waves' was also another clue to my making this discovery. It's interesting stuff, and those that really get it find they never use anything else.

Of course, you are not seeing what I am seeing, as you are using the traditional methods of observation rather than the framework.

Someone put a nice comment on my website recently:
" This stuff is absolutely incredible! It's like having a GPS Navigation System for the Forex market."

Anybody watching the CWH breakout (also a wedge BO) on the U/J 4H?

You can go all the way down to 15M and see nice chart patterns (another wedge/triange/flag/coil whatever you call it breakout).

What I like about the framework is that it isn't. You can rely on it not moving!

That's because you are doing something completely different to this. I can show you why and when your dynamic EW changes. It's really very simple.

No, but it doesn't matter. I've seen a lot of methods, and they are all different ways, different calculations and different constructions that are unknowingly designed to try and find points on the framework.

Look, I'm not trying to be clever or anything. I suggest the best way to see what I am talking about is to see it for yourself. I think you'd find it interesting my friend.

Trying to predict tops and bottoms is expensive. Observing candle formations that confirm tops and bottoms is profitable. I would like to hear more from the chap that started this thread.

If that's what you believe, that's what you'll get. The candle formations may confirm in some instances, but that's after the event. Isn't it better to know where they are going in the first place so you can take advantage of the move before they reach that confirmation?

Head and shoulder pattern in CADJPY.....CAD reduced rate...more possibility of a downward movement.
