Chart patterns breakouts.

How do You know if the breakout of a chart pattern is valed or false? How do You trade with the chart patterns ?

I suppose no one knows that break out is genuine or fake.Only technique to play with it is that keep your stop tight above the breakout point.If it is genuine then you will get enoug breather to move to breakeven and if it is false then you are done with your stoploss.Such stategies mostly prove good bcoz of good risk reward ratio.
I do not have currently any chart at hand but as I get i will post it.

for a slower moving breakout, see if the candle/bar can close above/below the breakout line for a few consecutive bars (timeframe is up to you, the longer the more "valid" i'd say IMO), for quicker breakouts, if it suddenly jumps a large amount of pips up to the support/resistance line, and eases past it, i'd say it's a good chance that it will continue going up.

Breakouts happen everyday in every timeframe, some are Harmonic patterns some are trendline breaks, head and sholders, 1,2,3's etc
