Having traded on much currency. i think gbp/jpy is the best currency to trade on b'cus of it's high volatility.

I will want to know poeples view on the best currency to trade on. and after this i am going to give out my simple strategy which gives me 100 pips per day.
My favorite is also GBP/JPY, but GBP/USD and, lately, USD/CAD are good, too.

Geppy and Cable are the most rewarding currencies for sure BUT they also are the most reckless account assassins
Dont forget, higher volatility also means larger stops!

Hmmm...

High volatility = big risk = no logical price actions = no kiss. It doesn´t mean high returns!!

In my opinion, the gbp/jpy is very difficult to trade. Because the pair has low volume/trading activity.

Big traders/Hedge Funds, and banks prefer the EUR/USD. That pair has a low volatlity.
Do a search at google, biggest traders trade the EUR/USD.

The daily moving avarage of the EUR/USD is about 75 pips. Lets say with your daytrading system, you can catch 33 pips a day for the EUR/USD pair. Now, why not trade with 3 lots?? You can get the 33 x 3 = 100 pips too LOL...

Here is a simple trading strategy to get you positive pips on any currency.
2 indicators are used. Macd with OsMA (2 lines+ Hologram) and a 16 SMA on the 15 minute chart.
Rules for long trade.
Enter trade when MACD crosses, Blue line on bottom pushing market upward, and candle appears above 16 SMA. Draw trend line connecting bottoms of candles or wicks. Exit trade when candle closes on opposite side of trend line.

Rules for a sell trade
Enter trade when MACD crosses, Blue line on top pushing market down, and candle appears below 16 SMA. Draw trend line connecting tops of candles or wicks. Exit trade when candle closes on opposite side of trend line.

I will post a chart with both trades. You won't get all of the pips, but you'll get some. It is okay to draw more than 1 trendline (See buy trade)
