Whooops, I got stopped out on my positions again, lol, so going to get opinion/advice from that "The Sytem (Irony included)" thread I mentioned in my Post #16

Okay, I am making a commitment to following feb2865's method of trading on price action.

I have stripped my charts of all but one indicator (the Fractal). I am NOT using the Fractal for any signaling whatsoever. I am only using it for easier visuals of the pullbacks, rallies, etc. (basically, the only thing that I care about on that indicator are the colorful dots - errr, well you can't see the colors too good on the screenshot, but they are a purdy green and magenta)

I am only trading off the Daily and 4hr charts. I have completely removed all traces of lower timeframes. They are GONE!

I will still implement the entering of 2 lots on a position, TP on half my position (1 lot) after 50 pips or so, then wait for pullback and V-formation on 4hr and enter another position at that time. The initial first position will not be touched until the Daily shows indication of a pullback, and one position will always be a "revolving" one on the 4hr until such time the Daily is pulling back.

This method just makes too much sense, so this is the one I will stick with and use from now one. I will not even look at any other strategy thread, because what's the point if I am committed to this one?

I just browsed some more and see you're trading naked. I love indicators and oscillators but know a mature trader has a feel for just the price action.
I need to learn some of this too so thanks for the inspiration!

I am nowhere a "mature trader", lol, mature in years, yup I'm pretty ripe there, lol, but I'm still in the early learning stages of this forex business but I think I'm finally getting somewhat of a good feel for it, so hopefully we can grow together

This forum finally gets a big player and nobody believes him!

He could have added a lot of value to advanced/seasoned traders with his knowledge and experience/expertise about how the big guys do it.

Even if people can't trade like him (he being way out of most people's league), they could have still gained some knowledge/benefit to the workings of how the big guys do it.

*sigh* I just don't get it.

I dunno, maybe I'm too trusting or something that I'm one of the few (besides David and TPO) who believed his story. But, I don't care, I rather give people the benefit of the doubt rather than judge them as liars.

Sorry, I just had to let this out, cuz it made me a bit sad that we lost someone who might have been a good contributor to these forums.

Oh well ... in the meantime, I'm still watching tumbleweeds go by waiting for a bus, lol.

That's okay, wait till I have some successful results first, then you may want to give it a try at that time, no?

Maybe just start out with one currency pair naked and if it has good results for you, then you can go total nudity for all the others, lol.

Looking at the 4hr chart of the EUR/USD ...

Looks like Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby Bear are all lined up waiting to take either a hike up Mt. Everest, or go skiing down the Alps. We don't know yet what they plan to do for their excursion. Still have to wait and see.

But if they don't hurry, looks like Baby Bear may be having a sibling!

LOL, thanks ... believe me, I am soooooo determined to make this work successfully, not only for myself, but for my family, friends, and everyone else who has been struggling in this trading business.

A mechanical method, in my opinion, is the best and simplest way for new traders (as well as experienced traders who haven't yet achieved consistency in their profitability) to make it in this business.

Just popping in for a bit, cuz this Thanksgiving weekend my hubby flew in to spend it with me, so dedicating my time to him and not the forums .

However, wanted to at least post my trades, cuz YEEEE-HAAAA, I finally caught a bus!!!!

Unfortunately, I missed the EUR/USD bus, lol (I wasn't available when she tooted her horn), but I managed to hop on the USD/CHF.

Entered SHORT on the 4hr V-Formation.

Revolving lot: +49 pips
2nd lot: +77 pips

Commission: -1.77%
Rollover premium % of profit: -5.81%

I'm happy with the results!

Exited all positions since the 4hr showed signs of retracement and it indeed retraced 162 pips.

Okay, will await the next bus, but in the meantime ... have a GREAT weekend everyone!

You know that "PRO trader" I mentioned about above in my Post #31? Well, he's been made a 1KT member and he's back posting on the forums!! He was pretty surprised to have been invited back, since he was originally banned from FF, lol, but I think there's some really sharp Moderators/1KT members here who could see his value!! Thanks merlin, smjones and Antra! You guys are so kewl!

Just to let you know, fti is a real PRO, I've seen his credentials and I've seen him in action. After seeing the way he trades and grasping some of his concepts, I went back to read the posts I saved of his, and I can understand a lot better what he was talking about.

To be honest, he is just too far advanced/skilled/mastered as a "PRO" for any of us (even for majority of the seasoned traders here on the forums) to even grasp what he's about until you understand the workings of pro dealers such as he.

My advice to anybody who may want to benefit from whatever he has to offer ... PLEASE be 'open-minded' enough to intake his knowledge/concept/method or whatever he chooses to share. Again, he's a big player (the real McCoy!) and he has a LOT to offer people with his expertise/experience of how the "PROs" do it!! If you choose to close your mind to it, you truly will lose out on an amazing opportunity to enhance your trading ... I kid you not!

Although I am still implementing feb's method for certain aspects of my trading, I am also implementing fti's.

fti will most probably present his strategy/method/style at some point here on FF (I'll leave it to him to explain it, since I'm still learning a lot of it myself, lol), so keep your eyes out for his thread/posts!

Ah... Congratualation on your wins being NAKED is yielding you the pips atlast.... Who said NAKED DOESNOT PAID (in this case THE PIPS) LOL.... Any who..... could you post some chart of your trade.... it would help me a great deal..... Thanks and have a good one..... Keep the post up.....
