It is past DST until next year so that is not a problem for 6 more months and ibfx is always GMT0

and it does not matter the TF this is on??

I use Alpari fall version to my Alpari and Mig account (GMT +1)
Change margin to 0 (zero). Daystarthour = 2 (IBFX) GMT +0 , 3 (Alpari, MIG) GMT +1. Lockbackhours = 8. Orderexpiratonhours = 16. And i change Eamagicno for every different pairs. Every sunday change lockbackhours = 4. (Alpari = 3) First candle monday 00:00 (GMT +1)

Will it open a the second order?
Last night there was no second order.
i tried using it in strategy tester to no avail if the indicator the box can be made into an ea with the option to put on 2nd trade that would be the key

Its only open 1 order, i have used this EA for all others pairs without G/Y. But its good start for someone to change this EA to "High & Low 8 hours" with second order start

I just want to clarify since I am on Eastern Standard Time and daylight savings has taken place that I place my order at 8pm and not 9pm for Gbp/jpy.

You would place them at 9PM. EST is -5GMT.
The easy way to not get confused is to change your computer time to GMT.
We had a pretty big swing today. Do you think we should adjust our TP to 50 tonight instead of 100? Those of you trading multiple lots could partial out I guess. What do you think Nicotina? Thanks for sharing this great system!

Nicotina, thank you so much for posting your system. Thank you to everyone else for your participation in drawing out the parameters. I made my first easy 100 pips today. Set things up, went to a movie, came out... fired up the computer and BINGO... done already.

Like many here, I am looking to automate this with an EA. I think there are some good starts posted here, but they all need some work. If I wasn't so busy I'd start tinkering with these myself, but I just don't have the time right now. That situation won't improve much before Christmas. Frankly, I'll be amazed if one of the power programmers doesn't jump in on this before that. This is scooping up profits very nicely.

One major shortfall in the !Dan-EA v29.3 is that it doesn't work with magic numbers. So if you put it on a chart I think it will close any other positions you have running on the same currency pair. That is unacceptable for me. But I need an EA to at least put on the original orders because that happens while I'm at work (here in Hawaii, GMT-10 puts the 0200 GMT at 4PM). I can't expect to get to my computer before 0400 GMT, so I need an EA to set me up. Since I'm running some other EAs that sometimes open positions on the guppy I might have a +100 profit on something and the !Dan-EA would close those before they need to be (I think).

Was that in the GBP/JPY you made the 100 pips? I use North Finance demo and would have been stopped out tonight. Who are you using for broker?
Hi folks, I just came across this system yesterday, read the whole thread. Looks like a really good system. Just wondered if anyone has conducted any research on the ranges. For example, if the gap/difference between the high and low buy and sell figures is say roughly 400 pips, as in last nights figures Buy: 228.01
Sell: 224.16
What are the percentage of trades that actually make a profit?.

So for example, maybe only 1% of trades placed when the gap/difference was 400 pips or more were winning trades. Would be interesting to see what the correlation is.
