just want to know if this has been tested on other currencies....

I did a manual check on the ones I trade (GU,UY,GY,EU,UC,EC), and with only a 50p pip T/P, the results are quit remarkable

what time did you use for other pairs just like nico time for gbp jpy?
and what is your rule for entry and exit?

GBP/USD -40.

I'm glad I went to bed and didn't trade.:-)

There is big GBP news coming out in about an hour that should move GBP/JPY.
The TF was the same 20:00 GMT - 02:00 GMT, the rules was the same.
I just did a manual test... I'll try do about a months on a spreadsheet and post it here.

I haven't heard of it being tested on other pairs.

* breakeven after a 70 points gain
* entry 1 pip above high /below low
* always reentry after loss

You need to enter both your long and short order at 0200 GMT.

If the long gets stopped out, you enter the long order again at the same price as you originally did.

The short order is already there. You entered it at 0200 GMT.

You only let yourself get stopped out twice- either long or short or both.

I've tracked it. I believe it's +100 for the week.
If Autotrade-fx is here he may have better figures.

EDIT- I just checked- autotrade's method looks like +216 for the week. That's very good, unless I made a mistake.

Ok. One more correction- It's up +123 for the week and in a winning trade as I write.

Okay, I did the Pound and the Yen. For the full month between 8 Oct - 8 Nov it gave a 50 pip profit on both every trade in the direction of the 4hr trend at that time.

Can you give us any more details?
What is your SL?
What is the trend indicator?
Are you using Nicotina's reentry rules?
Theres a huge spread on one of my brokers +-30 pips because the news, but we can wait for a little pullback when this happen, and open position as if it have normal spread, what do you think?

I don't know. I'm not a very good news trader:-)
My brokers spread is normal. I should have traded it/

Are you using Nicotina's reentry rules? No, this was back-tests, and as in the pics, it was just a normal order placed at the box High or Low in the direction of the trend indicator

Do u see if some times it hit a possibly SL with 50 pips ?

I used 20:00 GMT - 02:00 GMT and tested it on G/U and U/J because others are testing on G/J.
It might have hit the 50 SL, I'm not sure, but I will start FWD testing tonight and then use SL's.

Howard & Bkoori, first of all I want to apologize for my poor indicador, I’m not a programmer but alter a few hours the only that I can do was these, may be somebody else here can help us to make the modifications that we need, for now the only that it do is show one Box and we need to change every day the day of began and the of of end.

Numeral, the Box is a indicator that you can found in the post 315.

For every one that who want to test this method in other pair, let me suggest the following hours for Box length (ALL IN GMT):

  1. NZDUSD: 22:00 to 06:00
  2. AUDUSD: 02:00 to 10:00
  3. GBPUSD: 03:00 to 11:00
  4. USDCHF: 03:00 TO 11:00
  5. EURGBP: 04:00 to 12:00
  6. EURUSD: 05:00 to 13:00
  7. USDCAD: 05:00 to 13:00
  8. USDJPY: 07:00 to 15:00
  9. EURJPY: 11:00 to 19:00

This it’s only a suggestion, I’m back test and it’s good for me, maybe somebody else can check a share with us his experience.
