Just a quick question, for the Auto Pivot should i have the Use_Sunday_Data set to false or true?

This is my question too !
Autopivote calculate pivot lines according to sunday data . Is it correct ?
if yes , lines are closed to each other and we can not enter to trade in this area .
Also as we wait for long above the pivote and short under that , It is important to know about exact place of pivot line.

Today it is the first day that I try this method.
It is fantastic. I sight mine little experience is often exited too much soon. but the trade they were correct and the direction was right. Thanks to all!!!

Gorgeous system. Could you tell me when did you short GY and at what price?

And if you do not mind, could you post a chart of it too?

We had, as far as I see, one short signal (not valid) and a long signal (not valid) before the valid short one, right?

Therefore in order to accept it marks them long, the price must be above the daily pivot, and in order to accept it marks them short the price must be below the levels of the pivot daily...?

I've done that. I sold GY at 239,26 (below pivot). But I wanted to see what you did, as you are the one who made this system.

You never sell above pivot?

BTW, I do not trade with EAs, but sometimes they help or reinforce your view. Do you know if there is an EA of your system?

Also I as you I have gone long on GBPUSD but they have been stopped me. In this case the price was under the pivot daily, and we would not have had to go long. Or however it seems dangerous being.

I did not go long. Waited for next candle and it went down.

I'd like to know if it is mandatory in order to take a long if price is above DP and the opposite for shorts.

u need to know when important news releases are coming.
there was bad news for g/u released and mkt belo DP. makes it riskier for buy side. unless u are risking a portion of profits from the prior SS move, just pass on it.

I do know when important releases are out and sheduled. From UK data today, GBPUSD has gone down 40 pips. It has a strong support at 795/90.

But a signal is a signal. Because, sometimes it will go up. And those UK releases today are not the ones that move cable more.

My question is: is it mandatory in order to take a buy signal to have the pair above Daily Pivot?

its not mandatory, but unless u shorted and took some profit it would be far riskier because of price being below the DP. Alternatively, u could wait for the PB and buy after the dbl botm.. its up to u if u take a CT signal. it comes down to risk vs reward and your tolerance/Money mngmnt.
