5000 pips

Hi, I´ve just developed one strategy, in the 4H in GBP/JPY, since january it gave me 5000 pips clean profit allready with spread comission, with 50 trades, you thinks its good, in GBP/JPY?, since it is the most trending currency?

Consider sharing the strategy and move this to the strategy section if you want to continue.

Also show us charts, time frames, etc...

strategy is not always good only because it gives lot of pip, but i guess it was good to give you that much profit.

What do you mean by most trending? Please explain by way of a chart.

was this a backtest or a forward test ? also, with real money ?

It obviously means that when geppy starts to go in one direction, it will follows this direction for quite a while before there is a reversal

I was looking for an answer from Mike Douglas. Does he mean in terms of time? Price?
I just wanted to know how he determined that geppy is the most trending currency. I suspect he meant that it moves in the greatest daily ranges or that it is the most volatile.

So for Mike Douglas--and only Mike Douglas: Do you mean that GBP/JPY has the largest daily range, or that it trends for the longest amount of time, or that it changes direction least often than all other currencies? Or that it changes direction more often, therefore offering more opportunities to get in and out in either direction.

Yes, if you've invented a system that gave you 5000 pips for 50 trades it is excellent. What was the win/loss rario? Biggest drawdown?
