... waiting for eurchf to head down ... it's at the top of it's longer term 4h & daily & weekly channel ... looks like it's ready to break downward.... plus macd/lagguerre on the borderline .....?

After trading the system manuelly, and observing the price action for a few days, I found that the MACD will filter out bad trades, but also filter out profitable trades too, especially when the MACD is extremelly high for short, or extremely low for long. Can we have a version of the EA that have an option to turn off the MACD rule, so we may check out if this may make the system more profitable in long term by taking all Laguerre signal confirming with GMMA only?
how about an exit strategy, i know i know i should do what i think is best but has anyone had anything work for them?
Exit at pivot points? Set TP? Trailing Stop??

I personally set my TP's close to pivots. I also move my stops when I'm in profit (usually 10-15 pips profit).
One may want to ask on which resistance(1,2,3) or support(1,2,3) to take the profit. On that mater I watch the GMMA's in the beginning of the trade. If all MA's are nicely compressed and pointing in the same direction, then I expect a bigger move.

I would like to ask you what exact levels do you use for Laguerre?
The Wicker uses 0.15 and 0.75 but wouldn't it make more sense if we use proportional levels like 0.15 and 0.85?
Not thought that 20 pips of stop loss, is many. and that if the trade is mistaken it convene to exit as an example before 10pips of stop? that of thoughts? experiences?

Hello traders, and thanks Mr Wicker for your great system. I'm using one more filter to confirm the signals. I'm opening a trade when all the original options are in the place + the DayImpulse overlay is pointed in the direction of the trade. When it's pointed to another direction or whent is't flat I don't take a trade. I'll be happy if someone will find it usefull. Good luck in trading.

I trade G/U, A/U, E/U, CHF/U and USD/JPY. My trading begins at 8 am and ends at 5 pm GMT +2. Most of the trades were taken between 10am to 3pm.
I took only 20 high probability trades in Oct.
I will go live with this system starting from next year.
The point of this post is that TrendFallower really is a solid system and if traded properly can produce good amount of pips.
PS! Always trade in the direction of the bigger trend!

Did you backtest it using the original rules?
I have been using this system, in its original format on the 5 minute time frame with good results. I only trade the 1 currency, and take profits at a much smaller level than others seem to expect, typically 7-10 pips once a day typically. I trade the european open through to its close, and would like to say a big thank you to wicker and everyone, it consistently banks pips, and with correct money management, 150 or so pips monthly is more than enough for me.
i have tested the EA by CEO (version 3e)with mixed settings and noticed i was in the (-) on allmost every trade. Also noticed his entry signals on the lagurre do not match the original system. Was wonderimg if anyone else noticed these proplems? I understand the complexaty of programming code and am not hateing on CEO was just wondering if any one else experienced these problems and if not what were your EA settings?

This EA is very good for signals but it is not meant to be fallowed blindly.
