I have another question for those of you who use Ninja Trader with EFX. Is it not possible at all to set up charts that use 4 decimal places like EUR/GBP or GBP/USD for example? Or is that just for the demo? I'm only using a demo for Ninja at this point to get familiar with the platform.

No it is not possible to use 4 decimal places pairs in Ninja. You can use it, but you will se only 2 dec places...Ninja still does not support live forex trading - it is in process, maybe next year. Hope it helps.
Hi guys I'm new to this thread and the simplicity kinda attracted me. I have some questions though

I have seen thread 1 and Im supposed to determine the trend in that 1/2 hour. This means that if the trend is short, I only enter short trades? Also, what are the indicators used? EMAs, WMAs? What are the numbers to be used?

How do you know when to enter and exit? I realised that nothing was shown in thread 1? Or did I miss something out?

Yea, I've noticed that I can use those pairs but it will only show 2 decimal places and it's pretty much useless to me. Haha.

Not sure if this is a question or not. From looking at the chart i would take a long. rose though a H line, price action is above the averages. The main selling point long is the lead up, it has rolled into the breach not a impulsive thrust.

From a chartist point of view. down trend angle is broken and the price has formed a higher low pattern.

E/J was in a painfully obvious uptrend this morning (~7:10 EDT). Got in around 165.20... should have waited for a better confirmation as it went sideways for 5 minutes, then took off. Got out just before the 165.50 round number* for 25.5 pips. I had a feeling it would bounce off the 165.50 and could've got in again on a confirmation for another 5-10 pips, but 25.5 is almost twice my daily target.

* Marking off the round numbers (ie: ***.50, ***.00) with horizontal trend-lines helps a lot, as they're areas where you need to pay attention. Thanks Yuppie!
