Been using your system for a couple of weeks now. Just wanted to say a big thanks for sharing you system.
I wanted to ask that when you look at the 15 minute chart for the overall trend do you pay more attention to the EMA, red lag, blue lag or direction of the bollinger bands??

price will retrace to 233.40 before resuming its downtrend and first level of support is at 50% of fib at 232.16 ( which BTW is the montly Pivot) next at 231.59 which is also 38.2 of fib ( close to the weekly pivot)
one last piece of info, i see it going down to 229 area next week maybe by tuesday or monday
the indicator is showing a downtrend and its pretty accurate

so now u have changed the lag to be 0.65 instead of 0.55? How 's the accuracy?and how about the new indicator ?

Hi guys I'm a newcomer to this system and am very impressed so far, but I have a few questions real quick regarding the Lag setup. I've never used the Lag so I want to make sure I'm setting it up correctly. I've added some screen shots of my Lag1 setup below so you guys can see what I've entered. Also, I see on the PDF where it says Lag1 color green and Lag2 color red. Is this just the color of the line? I ask only because in the examples Imran uses BLUE and red. Am I missing something? Please correct any mistakes. Thanks in advance!

Hey buddy great system! Much thanks to you! Quick question for you though: I too use North Finance for charting and am strongly considering MBT/EFX for execution after reading that that's your broker. I know that different brokers quote slightly different prices, so I was curious if you've ever had trouble with your Take Profit levels not being reached due to differences in quotes between your chart feed and your broker. Or if you've ever been given a signal on your chart that didn't go in your favor due to such differences? I doubt this is a major concern, but I thought I'd ask. Also, have you ever had any problems with MBT. I've read some nightmarish stories of nearly all FX brokers and quite frankly I'm scared to trust any of them. It'd be good to hear you are having success with MBT.

I don't want to spoil the party or anything but I'd like to ask those who've been trading successfully for a long time a few questions.
I've been impressed by this system like everyone else but if you look back at data 7 or 8 years ago it doesnt seem to work so well back then.
I've been trying one way or another to get technical analysis to work for me without success on and off for 5 to 10 years. Now this could be that I'm not suited to trading but it could also be due to the fact that TA doesn't work. Like this system, TA systems seem to work in fits and starts - one year system A works fine and system B doesn't and the next year things are reversed. To me this comes across as an indication that the systems are not really measuring anything at all in the predictive sense but are simply reflecting the random nature of the markets, sometimes producing a profit and sometimes not.
I've grappled with this issue for a long time and I'm still undecided about the real nature of the markets and whether they really are able to be walked forward accurately.
It seems to me that if the markets were predictable longterm the guys with the megabuck computers and technical knowhow would all be billionaires by now and not flogging their indicators and systems to the great unwashed.
Your views would be appreciated, especially from those who actually make money at this lark.
