Now put the Trailing Stop on your Cable short position. If you don't have TS option... keep changing the SL accordingly. Move your SL from break even to a profitable price. Make sure not too close with the current price though. I am expecting some rebound/retracement at 100% Fibbo... that's Friday Low. Hopefully break that one and you'll catch back what you've missed from the UJ. At least half of it should be alright.

USD/JPY reverse to as low as 114.50 after edging higher to 117.93. Break of the short term rising channel at 116.15 confirmed that rise from 112.58 has already completed at 117.93. This also added much credence to the case that corrective rebound from 111.59 has completed too. In other words, the current fall from 117.93 is tentatively treated as resumption of the sharp decline that started at 124.13.
From a short term angle, initial bias will remain on the downside as long as 115.70 resistances hold. Firm break of 114.01 cluster support of 61.8% retracement at 111.59 to 117.93 at 114.01 will encourage a retest of 111.59 low. Above 115.70 will indicate that a short term bottom is possibly in place. But rebounded should be limited below 116.61 resistance and bring another fall.
In the bigger picture, prior break of long term rising trend line indicates the whole up trend from 101.65 has completed at 124.13 already, with bearish divergence condition in weekly MACD and RSI. Subsequent sharp fall from 124.13 has made a short term low at 111.59 and rebound from there is treated as correction to this fall only. Current fall from 117.93 is tentatively treated as resumption of whole fall from 124.13. Firm break of 111.59 low will confirm this case and bring decline to next cluster support zone of 61.8% retracement of 101.65 to 124.13 at 110.23 and 61.8% projection of 124.13 to 111.59 from 117.33 at 109.58 first.

Welcome friend next door Bole jer join in. I have tried many strategy... in the end I prefer KISS... keep it short and simple. I love using Breakout Strategy.... with Triangle... Channel... Bollinger Band....
No matter what... the money management is very important. It's how you minimize your loss and maximize your profit. That's why I encourage fellow traders to use Trailing Stop or Stop Loss wisely. Don't use TP because that will restricted your profit.

This is just my another 2 cents... dua sen...

Hi Sharino, Welcome, im still newbie here. Hope to learn more fr you. TQ. Im on gbp/usd, eur/usd and usd/cad. I uses trailing stop alot, and as sham said, try not to set TP as it will restrict your profit, and make sure you always have enough margin to make a swing, what goes up will always come down again.

Our preference: Counter-trend strategy short @ fail 114.27 or 114.14 with targets @ 113.85 & 113.50 in extension.

Alternative scenario: Above 114.32 look for further upside with 114.79 as targets.

Comment: the pair stands in an intraday bearish channel.

Hey,Sham!I'm fine here!A bit cold as autumn just about to begin!Was study and b a professional trader and investor after grad!Yeah,I live here in portsmouth cause is not far from london make me easy to go there for meeting or conferences.When the last time you're in soton?Not much change in soton except more retail outlet to do shopping!If they sell the mug at Uni union I could kirim for you but I don't have any plan to go back to kl till next raya!R u in kl now?

Counter-trend strategy could be in place if fail 114.27 or 114.14 with targets @ 113.85 & 113.50 in extension as the current price test the resistance .

Alternative scenario: Above 114.32 look for further upside with 114.79 as targets.

I put TS 30 points. Expecting retracement. Now already testing 100% Fibbo out of last Wednesday low. RSI exhausted... already oversold. Hopefully, the carry trade gonna drag Cable further down. I am waiting for the DowJones to active to give some influence to the Carry Trade. If Cable retrace strongly... I would wait until it break the 50% Fibbo to go Long.

Waiting for the Graduation Day? I graduated year 2000. I worked over there until 2004. Really missing the life over there. However, Malaysia is the best Before that, I did my diploma at Italy for two years. I have been abroad for about 8years!!! No matter what.... life back here in Malaysia is wonderful with friends and family around.
Since you'll be back next year... I'll keep in touch with you. Boleh kan belikan mug tu kat Soton? Nice knowing you

I graduated year 2002 and trained with Schneider Group london for a year then proceed as professional.I trade fx and invest in futures markets(Energies,Indices).I do think of kl sometimes but europe where I start my career so I'll be here for a long term.But good to meet up here in the forum at least we could exchange our knowledge on this bussines!Nice to know you too!

Wow weeeeee nearly 300 pips drop for today!!! I am already out of the game. TS got hit. For those with TS more than 40 pips... well done ... still in the game huh. Keep on sliding down baybeh!

As right now... I better stay out of the game. Let see what news gonna come out tomorrow. Overall long term trade still bullish. Waiting for the right moment to buy from dip.

2.0135 - 2.0150 area seems a good place to start to go Long. It's at 161.8% Fibbo and on the support Blue TrendLine. I am going to watch Cable closely as it reach there... if it ever gonna reach there. Any strong support sign and failing to break it... will definitely trigger Long for everyone If break that... the Support Red Channel Line gonna give a very big fight. Which one gonna win? Bull or Bear?
