DislikedHello Carlos,
My laptop is slow, so I don't know if it is the laptop or OANDA traders platform(not game) going back 3-5 sec from navigator prices.
P.S.Anyone else has the Time difference with OANDA and Navigator ?
PS2.What is the real opening hour of London? 07.00 or 08.00 ? (GMT or GMT + 1 ? )
PS3 New York opens GMT -5 or GMT+1 -5 ? Many sites has different times so I am not certain 100%.Ignored
DislikedThat world market hours site is saying that Australia opens in 45 mins...... it is 9:15am AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) at time of posting... and this session is open! (The ASX opens at 10am, but the forex session is well and truly open right now!)
Similarly London open is 6pm AEST and according to that site, it's saying it's 5pm.Ignored
DislikedI must admit, the 5- and 10-pip price lines (h-lines) and the time
lines really do provide the entry decision. Watching the spine slope,
and the price slope as they cross these axial lines together, really is
like a momentum indicator built into the rainbow, with the interior MAs
providing trend quality. I just thought I'd mention it cause I hadn't paid
that much attention until LT posted that chart with the E's and X's on it,
with each one at a h or v line...that helped a lot! Now making ~10 pips/day,
using 10 1- or 2-pip trades pretty consistently, increasing the lot size every
so often...Ignored
DislikedWhere did you find the chart with the E's and X's on it?
I looked through this thread and I could'nt find it, of course it is possible I missed it in that there is alot of post's on this thread already?Ignored

DislikedHi there!
Haven´t post for quiet a few time.
I´ve come to a MM approach that i´ve been using succefully and which takes out a lot of the stress and frustration that bad trades cause, specially on newbies to LT simple scalping.
The advantage of this approach is that bad trades still have a positive end result, and the screening time just gets better and better. So, for those looking for that 90% hit rate that are still on the 50-50% side and want to improve, this MM is very usefull. You will make money even with a 25% hit rate and you will see how the stress trade just goes out of the window and it all become natural.
When you get that 90% HR, you can forget about this MM strategy and just trade naturaly. This is only to help you out during the process of becoming pros at LTSS.
I´m working on the article,
Carllos MM Approach to “Linuxtroll Simple Scalping” (Only for Newbies) (C).
I really hope it will be usefull to LTSS new traders and it would be nice if LT includes it on his next revison of the book.
Maybe Linuxtroll wants to review the article before i post it. So, i´ll just wait for feedback.
Cheers

DislikedHello Carlos,
I am Glad you made it.
I am still in 25% success rate with a bag of technical problems, very few actual hours in front of the EJ pair and a ton of unknown things to learn.
My laptop is slow, so I don't know if it is the laptop or OANDA traders platform(not game) going back 3-5 sec from navigator prices.
I have bought today an ATI video card to connect an extra monitor.Uninstallable.
My motherboard is too old to run the driver.
Maxivista will have the same problem with the present setup. If current graphic card is slow 3-5 secs the same will happen with maxivista.
The goal is to have the 3-4 OANDA charts running real time with Navigator to the second in order to take the best desicions.
3-5 seconds later you might be out 10-200 pips.
Thank you
Basil

DislikedHaven't posted lately, still digesting the book LT, lots of great things I hadn't thought of--totally changed my system to coincide--much higher hit rate and I'm able to not trade on duds a whole lot better. I have been focusing on trading right at open of 2 sessions only with previous fully opened wave that turns around soon after session open, buy when flame passes spine at major H line. I haven't lost a trade yet, knock on woodBut previous wave must be large enough (r/r) and must fold a certain way. eg, Monday NY and Wednesday NY were duds, later turned up some nice trading, but open were duds (r/r way too small). Last week almost every day was at least 10 pips on a single trade--and easy too. Just what I've learned from watching the rainbow with LT's perspective etched in my mind.
