LHS = Left Hand Side! I like that indicator where it tells you Pivots in writing on the Left Hand Side...

to comment further, sometimes u will see mkts zig zag across the CPP and find support or resistance at a corresponding level.

in this e / u chart with the CPP based on 2 am eastern, we see the mkt test
made a prior test of R1 area.
hrly price bar at midnite closed below the CPP (the bar 2 bars before the black vert. line).
there are different strategies for playing mkt action dependent on whether price is above or below the CPP...

anyway, the last test of a level other than the CPP was at M3, so we can look for the mkt to possible test M2 if the CPP is broken.

look at post news action. there was a test of M3 again, which coincided w a fib level. M2 was broken also, with the reent price action hi at R1 area so we can look for a test of s1. this is the zig zag action. in theory, it attempts to anticipate key S/R as well as the potential range of price action.

note to Imran - let me know if i am getting too off topic. i dont want to run off in a tangent, but since we are using pivots i thought it would be ok in this case to offer my opinion.

duhh!!!! i am sorry...overthinking. lol cuz i dont have a Chrysler.

i will post, but be aware that that particular one is not the same that is used here. u will also have to set the timezone accordingly. that can be tricky.

PS: 63 R for short side again. scalp should exit and wait for sig.

Ranging Market
price is ranging above the Daily Pivot and not going further high, we may see some action 1 hr before close of Session.
I am out of the market, and will watch from sidelines, enter again on Monday

The indicaters you have to download and then install in the indicaters file of Metatrader. The indicaters can be found on post 1 of this thread. If you're not familiar with MT then you'll need further research.

Actually, MACD is off, too.... and the pivots...

Any help? This is really irritating me...

Hi Boritz. You must have gotten caught up in the excitement of this thread and forgotten the essentials that were stated in the very first post.

Everything you need (rules, template, indicators, settings) is included in the very first message. The indicators and template are attachments that you download to your computer.

Most experts, indicators, and templates that are discussed in this forum are built for the Metatrader platform. You can download the software from FXDD.com and they will provide you a data feed. (There are many other places on the net that will do the same; you must have a data feed.)

I don't know if this is enough of an answer for you. I will try to help, but I would like to know more about what you need before loading up the messages in this thread. I'm new to posting (2 total, and today) and don't know how to do private mail yet. Post an email address, and I'll work with you off the thread.

Boritz,

The first thing I'd say is that you need to calm down, there is no need to rush. All the indicators in a thread can be found at the end of the pages list or on the left hand side of the thread list as a paperclip. Click on that and it will list all the files/attachments posted on that thread.

Secondly, one very impt thing about metatrader, not sure if it has been mentioned before. Different brokers have different feeds for their metatrader platform. Hence, same indicator can look different and give different values on different platforms. From looking at Imran's charts, looks like he uses ODL for charting. I'd suggest downloading the demo from their website, and installing that. This way, you will get the same feed and graphs as Imran.

Suggest you start demo with 5M first, and then gradually develop to the 1M. Spread on retail brokers for gbp/jpy is huge thing to make up, and it takes a lot of discipline to let a trade hit the sl.
