when the Lags are pointing in opposite direction, we wait for them to align and then take the trade for sure shot success, if not chances of SL being hit are high

Ok, I went short when laguerre 1 went below .90, as laguerre 2 was in lined up as well..

We were under the daily pvt.

Sorry my screen shot isnt great, hope you can make out if my settings are correct or incorrect.

here is the setup for the laguerre

Indicators used :
LaGuerre 1 ( for entry ) - Gamma 0.55, levels 0.15, 0.85,0.45 bars to read 9500 color green
LaGuerre 2 ( for exits ) - Gamma 0.85, levels 0.15, 0.85, 0.45 bars to read 9500, color red

when u go to reply, below u will see manage attachments, u click on that and a new popup will open , u can then browse to ur attachment, click on upload and once its uploaded, u can close that window and click submit reply

attached is a 1 min chart, where both the lags are in agreement, this is a place to short the market and take as much pips market gives

salam imran.thanks for your contribution.just to ask one question.i ve take 3 trade but lose 2 of them.can u explain how the lags are allign?please show..

if you can post the charts, i can tell you where the mistake was and why u loose the trades. Pls send me the price u took it, and if it was a buy or sell
it will be helpful
check the previous chart i posted how the charts were aligning..

I was thinking earlier to have a trade call but then decided against it as it would the dilute the education we all are recieving from each others post. it would be better if we all have the same indicators and then see what difference it is between us when we take a trade so we learn from our mistakes

also pls whenver ur taking trades, always have SL in place, u can keep TP open or atleast put 20-30 pips

Guys,.,see this chart setup, makes me think of giving up the 1min scalping method to only trade the 5min setup
1min setup can be used when market is ranging
Let me know your feedback if u wish to have the 1min or the 5min method on this thread from now on....the indicators and rules are same for 5min

While a trade on the METATRADER FOREX is costly i take another solution to cut costs. I look for trades on metatrader and when time is ok i buy futures on my tradingplatform. You have a better profit with it , you can sell and buy where you want and forget the fact you lose six pips on the metatrader. Also cost for buy and sell are low.

ex: buy 1 contract ( 6EZ7 on GLOBEX) eur/ us$ is 6$ and the gain for 1 pip is 12.5$. The sell is also 6$. For 5 pips you have bruto 6 x 12.5 = 70 us$ minus 2 x 6$ = 12 so you have netto 58 $ .

the more trades, the more gain for the costs. But due to the higher gain is a losing trade also higher................

Guys
Please let me know if you all want me to develop the 5min method , so it can benefit majority of the traders here. I will still be working on the 1min but it may be restricted to private group and those whose broker spreads are low.

Also those who have contacts with programmers who can make a alert for the lag1 and Lag2 , pls do get in touch with me so we can make it more easier for trading , i will guide the programmer to make a better alert system so all can benefit

short on 1.4191 and laguerre 2 is still down. However i should have stopt the trade a the bord of 0.15 but did not. http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Great postings, but I still don't understand. Some of the trades seem to be counter trend with regard to MA's.

Yes I would like more info on 5min method please.

Could you post on the same chart showing failed and succesful enties as that would help. Just showing succesful does not always help, as I look back over your chart and think why did he not try to enter here?

Hi Terry
MA's are nothing but the manifestation of price action, and that is important then any indicator. Many factors affect price and fundamental news is one of them, so as long as we are trading safely with the help of 2 indicators showing us direction, we need not worry, after all a tight Sl of 20 pips togain 40-80 pips is good R/R.

I wish i could show u failed entries, but till now except for yesterdays Short entry on higher time frame where my SL got hit at 237.00 , rest all are good entries

Do send me the chart marked in yellow where u feel i should have entered and i will tell u why i did not

Firstly, I would like to say great system and yes I would prefer additional information on the 5 minute Time frame. Thank you and thanks for all that you do.
