DislikedIn my opinion the autobots are there to slave for you around the clock. I guess I would tighten the stops a bit before the market closes. Otherwise the awakening on Sunday may be COLOURFUL.

Are the autobots running 24/7 or during euro open to us close?

My autobots + humanbots will have run 24h from last monday until this afternoon. I decided to close out all positions before 16:00 today. I intend on starting them up some time sunday pm around 23:00 EST.
The B&Bbots get a paralyzing electronic zap instantly after they deliver their daily loot and are revitalized the next morning (when I do to). This is much harder than it looks and I've actually made a bit more than the regulated 40 pips/day - greed will kill me in the end, I'm sure of that. But I'm resolved to be more disciplined

For the BBbots maybe each pair could have a target of 5-10 pips. At so many pairs you will end up at 60 pips I guess.

The 4H is possibly the (tradeable) timeframe with the least false signals. Also it allows for a life off the computer every now and then. I worked my way out off the 5M to 30M and arrived at 1H now. This seems to be ideal for me and the EAs are performing brilliantly on that TF.
For manual trading the "shorties" are close to scalping with signals. Sounds odd, but it works. And the longer timeframes have the beauty of seeing trades for 100+ pips developing and being closed just by the reverse signal ... or when you just want the pips in your pocket instantly. (Had that happening to me several times.)
You may add NZDJPY to your list. It workes pretty nicely also.

Here're some new test results. Actually the only new one is from Aug 1st to 31st GBPJPY on 4H. The second one is from the same but on 1H. Actually it's the same one I posted few days ago but this time I have a SL at -150 and one wrong price corrected.
I add SL there and now it can changed quickly in Excel and I can see which one gives the best result. -150 seemed to be quite nice on 1H, well -141 is even better but I like round numbers (if you count 150 as a round number)
. So if price has hit SL at any time it uses that as a closing price. With this add-on finding the perfect setup for EA is easier

1 month back test is just not enough. Why don't you guys test it on MT4 and use closed bar you can get 100 correct back test if you use QQE as exit.
I will make a few back tests today. I will post them later
Yes, you're right about that 1 month isn't enough. I've tested just using QQE but my goal is to find optimal exit-strategy, not just for pips and money but because the strange need of beating this beast
And as you can see there're lots of pips left on the table on 1H so I think it can be done better. So I use Excel for backtesting and I when I've new exit-strategy (CCI, MA, etc...) it can be tested quickly when using Excel in my calculations. Ofcourse if (and when) the "perfect" setup is found it has to be coded and backtested in MT4 to get the certainty its profitability in the long run. I'm concentrating trading on 1H now, lets see if I can give it a boost.- finnfx

Hi everyone,
Great job on the test results. I have been following and using this trading system. It's a great system. Is everyone having more sucess using the longer timeframes. I am using both short and long term frames on it. I use the 5min for my hyperactive state..lol..and the longer term for my using my brain the right way mind set. The long term trades keep me in the game and the 5min lets that daring side out.

About my 4HR I just tested really quickly and didn't think about trailing or SL just using the same settings that I had on 1H since I was improving that maybe it was bad post from me. Trailing works but like I said before I'm trying to find the optimal exit (if there's one
). That's why I'm using Excel in my testing so I can use something else that EA doesn't have as my exit-strategy. Maybe there's no point of all this testing in the end and I end up using trailing as well but still I like to try because I've had quite nice exits in my manual backtesting.- finnfx

When dot appeard and MOM confirmed I took the trade and stayed until next dot with MOM confirm, so if I was on trade and next dot appeard but if MOM didn't confirm it yet I waited it to line up too and after that I reversed trade. This kept me out some bad trades but I think it isn't very good strategy because exits (MOM confirm) came usually too late, still it gave over 2000 pips on August and much less loss on July, Criss posted his dot2dot result on 1H which was over -1000 (post #1259, top of this page). I think we can do better but still need to figure out what that might be. Maybe I should add trailing like 100-200 to my strategy too. At least results from July would be much better with trailingstop. Well that's all for now.
