I hate it when this happens, hits my SL and then shoots up 100 pips.. pretty annoying, will wait for another entry point.

Hi,

If you don't mind, could you say the reason you have gone short GBPJPY here, all the JPY crosses are currently showing a couple of failed highs after the recent run up, but I don't know if you watch these for clues or not.

I can't see anything yet on the GY suggesting short.

Price just completed 76.4% fibonacci retracement from it's last recent fall from 233.68, price could still go up to the upper TL which is around 233.20
I expect it to fall from here to the lower TL on 4h which is around 229.60 and possible breaking it this time.

Hello. Before I pose a couple of question, I have to say your journal is great. I've been following your trades and I've learned a lot. However, I'm still challenged with entry's for this currency pair.

I see that the GBP/JPY has been channeling between 233.60 and 229.50 since Sept. 19. How are you timing your entry's? Also, do you think the GBP/JPY will break in one direction or another and resume a trend anytime soon? What do you think is keeping this currency pair from breaking?

GJ has been ranging like you mentioned, I've been buying at the bottom and selling at the top but after looking for a reversal sign (candlestick formations) on either 15m, 30m, or 1hr chart. I believe the breakout will happen very soon, it just needs some really bad/good news to fuel it and it will breakout from this wide range. hmm, I don't know but it maybe coz of fundamentals (ask markam).

There's something wrong with me or the market is just crazy, GU was looking bearish to me and getting ready for a fall but no, the market goes the other way, typical LOL.

very risky trade, using small lot so no worries, let's see which one hits first..SL or TP.. even though recently my SL's have been the favorite food for this pair lol

Nothing wrong with your head, I got bitten a little too. Actually, we should have not taken those trades because of the big pinbar-type things on daily at that time. There was consistent upward pressure. Anyway I think it's over now but I'm still staying out.
