And eur/cad daily could easily become a PB today too.... well, I am not falling for it this time... not so easily...
If things dont change too much today SL & Tiki migh get another daily pin on the cad to play with..

Once the breaking point in most traders trying to go long is reached the market moves out. Actually probably a pretty good indicator - no offense.
I know EXACTLY how you feel Tiki, no lie and no doubt about it.
And yes, a very fundamental truth, mini accounts are to rob new people of their money, plain and simple. 200-500$ on mini, that's 50+% risk on a daily bar for crying out loud!

Yes, Oanda is great for their sizing and you just have to absolutely love the 1.2 - 1.5 spread on EURUSD.
You know, those EURCAD charts just make me think "looooooooooots of upside potential right there"...
And some of those HNS patterns are actually the ones that abort just around the neckline and then move higher (wave 2 ends most likely before a bigger move up starts, haven't figured it out 100% just yet...)
We already had charts in that regard, I think Wiz posted a nice example and on your big chart there's one, too.
I think the USD is going to take back some breathing space eventually, but even if not - EURCAD, GBPCAD and so forth make me believe there's a chance for USDCAD rising or at least staying solid no matter what...
Maybe I won't have made a giant butt out of myself after all talking about a potential low coming in USDCAD all week now?
We'll see...I just think there's GOT to be some "reality check / sanity point"...but heck, I've no idea about the FA side...so let's stick to them charts =)
Weekly and daily close will be interesting....and monthly...and...charts are just super ;p

As Mike already said, it's not the best setup if you take previous day's low into consideration, but it's a PB regardless...

Unfortunately, I don't think either of them are the greatest, and I doubt if they even register as worth looking at with mbqb... and I am learning fast to be much more careful... CAD is going to fake us all out and make even lower lows... on both pairs for that matter... oil going up up up... and USD not getting any stronger...
Starting next week, I have new personal rules for trading PBs...
1 I will trade PBs only by the basic rules 10 pips after the break of the PB.
2 I will open two or three positions each time and the first position will carry the bulk of the trade size and be closed after 20-40 in profit... after that, more can run free trade... but much smaller trade size...
3 No 4 hr PBs only daily and above...
4 Unless there is some other confirming reasons... I will only trade PBs with the trend
thats it back to basics. Wait longer for the A trades, they will come. I have found it hard in the past to wait but recently i have gained valuable knowledge from fiji.
Also some of the older posts from Jim. like theres no reason to go through hell to learn this stuff.... Theres plenty of time & plenty of pips, theyre noy going anywhere.
While writing this I'm also restating it to myself.
