i only ask because my broker doesnt offer gold trading..

what is that euros? £2 of margin? so how much profit/loss does that give you per pip, sorry for so many questions..

at 0.01 Gold needs to move 1$ to make 1pence
at 0.10 Gold needs to move 1$ to make 10pence
at 1 Gold needs to move 1$ to make 1£

the margin required for gold is really small (probably why so many like to trade it).... so even at £10 per point the margin needed is only £2000

if you can only trade currencies it might be worth your while to look at gbp/aud for a drop ..... just my 2cents tho, do your own due diligence

Gold outlook and setup for today.

After yesterdays decline of 2.9% price has broken below the support of 4030 and now consolidating at lower levels, further downward moves are expected, immediate support is at 3983 and immediate resistance is at 4020, below 4009 could be an intraday short entries for small targets, but major trade would be after the breakout of 3983 in the lower direction (Be breakout is preceded by good consolidation it will add to out conviction).

Outlook: Bearish to Sideways
Strategy: Selling trades are preferred, wait for consolidation.

Wait for the clean breakout before taking fresh entries.
