I am completely clueless about prop companies. I like to trade gold mostly, on a 5-minute chart. That is where I am really at home. I have time to sit in front of a screen. I want a company where the entry fee is low. As a pensioner, I don't have much money, my account is a cent account.

Btw I hardly trade gold owing to its volatility and highly manipulated

I am looking at ftmo and E8 pro. I can't choose between the two. what I don't like is the trailing DD with ftmo. Both have good discount while E8 has higher discount with static DD which is what I want

I will probably take up a 25k E8 pro account. I check trade explorer and I can't find E8, guess I won't be able to create a TE with E8

I think you have to choose Eightcap from the drop down menu.

I've never used E8 so not sure, but someone did tell me a while ago that they needed to choose eightcap for the trade explorer, perhaps its changed now, I'm sure FF will get back to you.

FF has responded to my request in under an hour and I created a TE. Something went wrong and it was not able to sync with the broker. I waited until now and decided to delete the TE and create another one. This time it works and as you can see it was a -ve day for me...a small loss
I have set it to members only whatever that means and not to the public

Just to add: I will be trading mainly on the 15min tf following the trend. I won't be trading S/R and therefore not picking tops and bottoms on this account...let's see. got to get down to the park soon for a bbq with about 100 people mainly from the church
