I am completely clueless about prop companies. I like to trade gold mostly, on a 5-minute chart. That is where I am really at home. I have time to sit in front of a screen. I want a company where the entry fee is low. As a pensioner, I don't have much money, my account is a cent account.

Btw I hardly trade gold owing to its volatility and highly manipulated

I am looking at ftmo and E8 pro. I can't choose between the two. what I don't like is the trailing DD with ftmo. Both have good discount while E8 has higher discount with static DD which is what I want

I will probably take up a 25k E8 pro account. I check trade explorer and I can't find E8, guess I won't be able to create a TE with E8

I think you have to choose Eightcap from the drop down menu.

I've never used E8 so not sure, but someone did tell me a while ago that they needed to choose eightcap for the trade explorer, perhaps its changed now, I'm sure FF will get back to you.
