1. Clean trade according to the rules. I might have needed a slightly larger SL.

1. A bit of a gamble, this one. The concern was that MTF was moving strongly up, although HTF was moving strongly down. I took the trade based on the LVN from the previous strong HTF move. I exited manually at +2.3R, but if I had held, it would have hit TP just before the POC of the previous strong HTF move.

Very interesting, its always cool to look at another persons approach to the market. Regarding low timeframe trading. What's the most important thing that you are searching for, by that I mean the sort of filters and mistakes you made that really progressed your ability. For me on the larger timeframe its taking high quality trades, trading the right instruments and a combo of macro technical. I imagine macrofundamentals+patience is less of a factor when you are having multiple independent trades on the lower session. I wonder what defines a high quality trade on lower TFs. Is it more so execution tightness. I have no problem following routines and executing plans, I'm just interested on the actual variables that lead on the lower timeframes, I might do some study into it. It seems theres less data on lower TFs as well.

I’ve covered most of this on the first page, but I’ll expand a bit here.

For me, the most important thing is to see (the method is very graphical) a clear momentum move on an oscillator on a higher timeframe.

Yes, I don't pay attention to macro fundamentals, but patience is an exceptionally important quality to me, which I hope to master. It takes patience to wait for that clear momentum move that I mentioned.

I don't evaluate my individual trades so much, I think in sequences instead. On low timeframes such as 1 sec or 5 sec, you can be cut off easily. That's why re-entries and high RRR are important to me (at least 1:3 or 1:4). So batches of trades are what matter, through which I try to achieve a solid amount of R's, or get away with break-even or a small loss on a really "bad" day. I think the better question is what a high-quality higher timeframe momentum move actually looks like, because when you get it, that kind of batch is hard to miss.

In my experience, ultra-low timeframes offer a big advantage, especially in terms of usable data.
