With a leverage of 400 is enough.....

Honestly, I am not a fan of high leverage. I only use 1:100 leverage, and I never use it to open positions that exceed my capital; instead, I tend to open relatively small trades. Fortunately, I have enough capital that I don't need to rely on leverage, but what I lack is more experience and discipline. Currently, I am trading with small amounts to test a few things out. Thank you, my friend—take good care of yourself.

1:400 is way higher than anyone needs, 1:100 is higher than anyone needs. It's hard to learn with that stress, and you don't really need it anyway. Consistency is enough. 13 pips at 1:15 will give you around 2 percent. 3 such trades a day, one loss, two wins, that's good enough. For consistency you need to have a plan that works. To have a plan you need experience, try stuff out, learn others methods, adapt them. All takes time. Big leverage takes all that away from you, you can't relax and develop anything when every trade is existential in nature.

High leverage is a psychological trap. Personally, my account leverage is set to 1:100 just for form's sake, but I never leverage my capital. Trading with what you actually own is the only way to build real discipline without the existential stress.

(Edited in order now)I havent posted on here for maybe 4 months now, had some unfortunate mental/medical issues and to stepped away from trading for a few months, ive been back to trading lately with much more clear mind. I intend to post on here very little very sparcely going forward as I realized that I attached too much emotion/ego to my results with trading in general (basic trading psychology we all know) and specifically when posting in here as I had that ego to show my good trades but then the losing days it would mess me up more when id post etc. So from now on im finally where id like to be at with trading, dont post anymore , and I most certainly have passed the phase of looking at this forum for advice or to see if people have similar biases etc to calm my mind etc, its not needed now. But ever since ive detached from the constant checking forum, revenge trading etc which the break helped a lot with, my success has skyrocketed, my vision with the charts is so much cleaner and the results have followed. So I want to share this one post on here regarding my most recent trade, and my following biases going into next week. As one of my sparce posts I chose this time as its made me the most as in best movement and conditions for my style of trading, and continues to provide the best set ups going into next few weeks so ill break down what I believe below and do with it what you want.
Got entered at 1.16014 with a pending sell that I had placed on Saturday 6/14 after that previous weeks analysis.
4 hour:

Marked out where partials are taken.
Looking at the second photo which is the weekly, you can see a period of consolidation that gets broken by a sweep up which happened late January, that sweep up happens to line up with the monthly bearish order block and also bearish fvg.

We have since reacted bearish from that point, closing below daily lows, and with the biggest closure waiting to happen being at that target liquidity big black line at ~1.13920 which is the last significant low im waiting to close below before full bearish conformation. But look what patterns the 3 month shows and how we are following it yet again, then you see the 3 and 6 month charts both have large bullish fvg very high liquidity zones right under the low im targeting.


My plan based on this: If price rebalances this upcoming week before sweeping down into ~1.13910 (which I consider as 1 of 2 most probable scenarios next week) then I have my pending short order already set at 1.15220, would tag that zone for one last liquidity grab before a dumb into that zone below. Now in the opposite: if price dumps and takes liquidity early in the week then re balances later on into the days/weeks then ill just enjoy my profits from my existing short order, which ps, I had 2 short orders, one that was a pending order mentioned above(1.16014) and a second at 1.15895, I closed 50% of profits combined as showed at start and both stop losses are at breakeven so that trade is already completely set dont have to worry about additional risk if we shoot up for some crazy reason. So again if it dumps from here with no rebalance then I will continue to take partials along the way down but my main tp is set at 1.13x for my overall multi week hold. So right now this is what im thinking and hopefully it can provide help to some.

The problem with 400 leverage is that you may press a extra 0 or 00 when enter a trade and Trump tweet at the moment and go against your trade.

Yes brother for EUR/USD, that normally creates downward pressure (gap down) because the USD tends to strengthen during geopolitical shocks. The Eurozone is also a large energy importer, so higher oil prices can be viewed as more negative for EUR than for USD.
However, there are two important caveats:

1. The market has already traded multiple Hormuz headlines this year.
   Traders have become skeptical because there have been several announcements and counter-announcements regarding closures and reopenings.
2. A lot depends on whether shipping is actually interrupted.
   As of the latest reports, Iran announced a closure, but U.S. officials said commercial traffic was still moving through the strait and vessels continued to transit

Bears likley going to continue. And i dont think there will be a retest to 1.15. Moving above 1.1470 wont be a piece of cake for bulls. Even if it does, surely be a fake move.

DXY already broke the Resistance. It's ahead of the EURUSD.
