In reviewing the posts on here tonight....the user SRI... if you are still online can you explain the template you are using... I like the clear buy sell signals it generates... up arrows and down arrows... what indicator(s) are you using?

This is starting to look for like a reversal than retracement, don't go crazy shorting or you'll burn yourself

VT charts shows a possible retracement upto 233.51 (2hr 5sma)..

Actually the Asian Session was the one to SELL the E/J.

We came within 25 pips from yesterdays session Low, and since have bounced upwards, pressing the 50LWMA on the 5 minute, looking for a close above this area and a move back to the median price of yesterdays daily range at 157.63.

Will remain out of all trades for now, no hurry to get a scolding of hot traderidus.

I prefer a sure thing in my entries.

I think that if you're stumbling a bit then you should risk only 1%. Then when you get a bit more confident raise it to 2%. If you have a bad patch go back to 1% again until things feel a bit better. That's what I did/do and it helped take the pressure off and let me concentrate on the trades.

Does anyone here think that a bad ADP employment report (and maybe even a bad NFP report) will fully convince the markets to expect a rate cut (as in 100% certain) and so GJ will push up (like it did this morning)?

I know that usually a bad nfp report would push GJ down as traders would tend to be more risk-averse.. but right now it seems that everyone is looking at what possible action these reports could have on the Fed's decision to cut rates.

Hey Bid. Sorry to hear of one bad trade overnight. i just can say that practice and experience makes u wiser. we have all been there with bad trades and not knowing when to exit. and i have learnt aftre being here for last 6-7 months that money management is the key top preservation of ur capital.buit i am still a learner and cannot give any advice yet.

Ur question regarding by chart :

i have been experimenting with auslanco's strtergies and i have found both the 4Hr/1HR and the 15 min stratergies verey useful and have resulted in positive trades for me. But again it is very important to see how these indicators behave. so i would advice u to get aquainted with their behaviour before jumping in with real money.
