my journal on testing of hedging systems

I have tested few hedging systems that i can think of. most are profitable in long term, but in term of percentage return is small, 5-20% per month.

Currently testing 1 of my hedging variations on gold. testing started on 6th april.

stats as bellow:
1149 trades, gross profit 33195, gross loss -22474, net profit 10721. about 35% return.
start capital around 30000. floating -2001. 4 buys 3 sells opened. current balance 35724.

That’s actually pretty solid performance, especially with only ~13.7% drawdown and already +35% since April 6. A 75%+ win rate with hedge systems on gold is not easy to maintain. If it stays consistent over the next few months, this setup looks very promising
