Figured I'd share some thoughts since I don't see much discussion, nor many XM reviews in this section. Been with them for about 16 months now, on the Ultra Low account on MT5.
Started with $500, for those who need info the min depo is $5 but you can't card transfer below $10 anyway. Verification was quick and standard as far as I remember.
Spreads on EURUSD sit around 0.7-0.9 pips during London, widens to 1.4-1.8 around the US open or news events. GBPUSD similar. I was on Standard before and the difference is noticeable: 1.6-2.0 on EURUSD. That's the main reason I switched.
Withdrawals have been clean so far. Card transfers come usually the next day, bank wire takes 3 days. No fees either way.
There are some downsides, as well. Ultra Low doesn't get the deposit bonus, only Standard does. Same with the promos. Don’t understand the logic behind, but it is what it is.
Also some handy features like AI insights are only available if you use their proprietary app
As for regulation and reliability, i think i should’t waste any word: CySEC license in place, running since 2009, 15 million clients… It speaks for itself.
