Hi all. Just wanted to start a thread related to our experiences with FXOPEN.com

I have been using a STP account with them for some time now. Whilst I do not have any major gripes with the broker I do often suffer from connection issues. Like I'm having right now. Have not been able to connect since the platform froze last night. This is a problem I encounter a couple of times a week. Typically customer service will say their is no issues with the sever and must be an issue my end.

So I wanted to check to see if others encountered this same problem?

I'm with FXOPEN new Zealand for 3 months I have en ECN Account,i have no problem logging in to my account or trading so far ,
Their customer service is slow and terrible. Deposits and Withdrawals take forever. If you want to reset your MT4 password you'll have to submit a support ticket with I.D and wait 6 hours. They are based in Egypt their call support numbers are virtual phone numbers that redirect there. They are not actual offices. You will have dropouts and connection issues and can't talk to anybody about until after 7am london time.
Be aware that FX Open is now in St. Kitts and Nevis now. If you use FX Open, open an account with their UK office, as I believe UK regulation is better then nothing.

As they changed their address on the MT4 statements to St Kitts...

Thats interesting and a bit worrying. I was under the impression the various incarnations of FXopen where either .com .au or .co.uk all registered and regulated with the relevant athorities in NZ Australia and the UK respectively. But its seems you are right FXopen.com is registered in Nevis and not in anyway regulated by any authority. Do you know when this change occured???

I would say since a couple of weeks. As I just get IB commissions there and they changed their entity on the statements.

And the question is where are their real operations? In UK i believe it's really in the UK because of the regulator. But the Nevis company?

Originally was always Egypt.
Then Cyprus for regulation for few years. Then came NZ as that sounded more trustworthy.
Then came Australia, they say the company split, but AU operation as per registry seem to be with FXoen name...there is no such as FXopen.au as a separate entity there.
I am not sure about UK operation, till this new twist that was the latest, and IF it is truly regulated there, should be the best bet to go with.
Then now St.Kitts and Nevis.

I guess all moves due the tax reasons only. Not much on St.Kitts otherwise, a forgettable little island...I know,been there. Definitely not an investment center, to be sure.
