Hi everyone,
I’m Anne Keller. My account here is still pretty new, but I’ve been actively joining discussions and recently got access to start a thread, so I thought I’d create a small space for my own market notes.
I’ve been trading for around one year, and my stronger interest is in economics, macro trends, central banks, inflation, interest rates, market news, and how all of that actually shows up on the chart.
So this is not a signal thread. No buy here, sell there, or pretending I have the whole market figured out.
This is more like a macro messy notes journal. Sometimes I’ll share thoughts on gold, USD, oil, indices, rates, sentiment, trading psychology, and the strange gap between what the news says and what price actually does.
I’m still learning execution, timing, entries, exits, and risk management, so I’d also love to hear from traders with more live-market experience.
To start the thread: do you think macro news helps your trading, or does it sometimes make you overthink the chart?
