high stakes trading begins by trading for $10,000.00 per pip.

a minimal trade on metatrader4 is for 0.01 lots and requires approx $23.30 margin and it gives me $0.10 per pip of profit.

the next step up is for 0.10 lots, giving me $1.00 per pip of profit, and it requires approx $233.00 of margin.

so, to calculate margin requirements on the eurusd, simply decide how much profit you want to earn per pip, for starters.

ok, lets say we want to earn $10,000.00 per pip... multiply that number by $233 and that is your margin requirement.

$10,000 x $233 = $2.33 million dollars margin will get you $10,000 per pip of profit.

turn out 40 pips and you just made $400,000.00

and there you have some nice coffee table conversation to impress your friends and family with.
