Why did you dominate the market on your demo account, but the moment you think about using real cash, your palms sweat? It’s simple: Demo money has no soul.

When you trade with fake money, your emotions are completely asleep.

If a trade goes negative by $10,000? “Meh, let it ride. It’ll come back.”

If a trade goes positive by $5,000? “Cool, let’s see if it goes to $50,000.”

Open a Micro or Cent Account: Put in a small amount of money—say, $50 or $100.

Trade Small Sizes: Trade the smallest micro-lots available.

Feel the Pain (Directly): Even losing $2 of real money will teach you more about your psychology than winning $20,000 of fake money.

The Bottom Line
Demo accounts are great for learning where the buttons are, understanding how leverage works, and testing if your strategy is completely broken. But it’s a practice field. You can’t win the World Cup by playing FIFA on your couch.

Read the room nobody likes your posts. When you post you list way too much detail that none of us need. All we need is your entry, target and stop loss and reasons why if you want to posts trades. All of the other stuff is unnecessary things that I’m guessing nobody wants to see. Over the past month or so you’ve posted 10x more than anyone else with hardly a reply about your trades. What does that tell you? Try your own thread that you made and see how that goes maybe it’ll take off and be amazing and that I am totally wrong. I’m just making observations within this thread.

are you demanding that i must explain why i place my trades?

i can answer that... i designed and built the core elements of a software package that carefully calculates an arbitrage situation with the eurusd, and it tells me what to trade.

i hope that helps for you to understand the reasons why i place my trades.

my bot runs a single instrument, single broker, martingale arbitrage.

it never needs to lose any trades.

have you noticed that all of my positions close in profit and the duration of the position being open is not lengthy?

if any of my positions should close at a loss, i will unplug my computer and toss it in the ocean.

Well since you’ve created this magic bot that wins 100% of the time maybe you should sell that info to people and make real money instead of just using it in demo. Thats what I would do

i suppose that is worth considering... if there were more people running my bot, it would only serve to create volatility, which would definitely benefit me.

i wouldnt even know how to put a price on this thing, and since i am trying to place a million dollars usd per pip trade, assuming that is successful... how would you put a value on my software package? my gut feeling is that most people here want something for nothing, and they would not even be able to pay me what my software is worth, so i should probably just run it myself and let you do what it is that you are doing.. hint: a trading bot that can earn $one million dollars per pip is worth more than you and all of your buddies could every scratch up.

ok..note that i am currently playing a demo account, but my account is fully automated and really really it is pretty much as difficult to automate a demo account as it is to trade a live account fully automated. it is only less psychologically traumatizing to lose with a demo account, but again since i am automated, that isnt really an issue.

do you know what your target price is? hint: if you dont know what your target price is, you are not trading ...you are simply gambling.

let me give u a great advice:

reading the order book, understanding where large flows are located, interpreting market maker traps (such as false breakouts), and sensing sentiment in real time are purely human skills. They require intuition, direct experience, and a psychological sensitivity that a BOT, due to its algorithmic nature, does not possess and never will. It limits itself to theory and cold numbers; only you see the actual action on the charts.

note that i am attempting to play this demo account like it is a $2k account, because that is the level that i plan to go live at.. my current margin used is $839 and my drawdown is $-21, so no problem so far. current expected profit is $95

same here. I exited most of my long trades on Friday. Hate paying swaps for over a week but good result. Now i expect some ranging above 1650 level
hope to see some exhausation near 1680 level

that s why even if there's an opporunity i almost never ride positions that increase costs. At the end of the month they can weight on equity, especially if u got trapped or it goes sideway longer than u expect when u go in.
And moreover, why, why, 100 times why don t hold well positioned entries that generate passive incomes
