The trading-related side of social media is seriously irritating, unrealistic, and packed with advertisements. As a New Year's resolution, I gave up social media altogether. I still browse Reddit and X occasionally, but on X I constantly have to mute influencers whose payout certificates and affiliate-money screenshots all look identical, and who get free accounts they can blow up so they can promote the occasional successful one and feed people complete nonsense. It's exhausting.
Markets will move to the right.

Even beginners who look, here, know that that one’s about the top priority to avoid, even since all the rule changes.

You’d need a really acute aversion to any kind of due diligence at all, to decide to try there?

Some of what’s posted about them in other forums is truly horrendous, and anyone who looks can discover the owner’s history easily enough.

Yes, the futures I get. In his post though he says this A/B model is better than any futures prop model. I would think if FTMO and the 5%ers were using it, they'd advertsie it? To me, it's an enormous selling point.

Sounds like a bucket-shop broker without any regulation, but with the added bonus of keeping challenge fees; AKA having your cake and eating it too.

Prominent A/B (Hybrid) Prop Firms
Because firms use automated risk algorithms, they rarely guarantee 100% A-Book routing for every single funded trader. Instead, they shift users between books based on performance metrics:

  1. FTMO: The industry pioneer. Evaluation accounts are strictly simulated (B-Book). However, they copy-trade their top-tier, consistently profitable funded accounts directly into live market conditions to hedge payouts.
  2. The5ers: Known for their long-term scaling plans. They utilize a heavy hybrid model where traders demonstrating tight risk management are transitioned onto live capital pools.

Fundedhive on their website say they are Abook for the funded phase.

Got asked the question yesterday on how can firms Abook demo. Which is logical, because how could you abook demo? I answered I don't know but that is like I smell a rat type of thing. And for demo why the need for charging commission if there is none, technically?

Abook should have trade receipts. Perhaps someone could clarify things.

You didn't say what you trade, CFDs or futures.

I'm not familiar with CFD prop firms, but among futures prop firms it's worth considering
Lucid Trading,
Tradeify,
Topstep,
My Funded Futures,
Alpha Futures,
and Take Profit Trader (if you're comfortable with intraday trading).

These firms do pay out and generally have fairly reasonable rules.

The striking difference, there, although I appreciate that you're unaware of it yourself, might be that "Hola" is becoming well-known for paying people by the post for favourable forum and review-site recommendations.

Even I (with little experience) know a couple of people who were offered such arrangements by them.

Things like that can easily give people a mistaken impression of your motivation.

My guess is that "Hola" has problems - as some prop firms do, now - getting customers by other, more conventional means.

But on that note, Hola prime, with the others, isn't a bad shout. Specially for the CFDs space, there's only so much we got.
