Tuesday, May 26: The UK Retail Collapse

  1. Events: GBP BRC Shop Price Index (2:01), GBP CBI Realized Sales (13:00), USD CB Consumer Confidence (17:00).
  2. Macro Overlay: The UK is suffering from severe margin compression and a dying retail sector, while the US consumer remains resilient enough to keep the Fed hawkish.
  3. Pair Impact (GBP/USD & EUR/GBP):

    1. GBP/USD: Bearish. Algorithmic traders will sell the Pound on weak retail data, targeting the S38 support levels as capital flows to the higher-yielding USD.
    2. EUR/GBP: Potential choppy consolidation, as both the EZ and UK are facing stagflationary pressures, but the UK's retail data might give the Euro a slight intraday edge.

Wednesday, May 27: The Oceanic Divergence (Trade of the Week)

  1. Events: AUD CPI y/y & Trimmed Mean CPI (4:30), NZD Official Cash Rate & RBNZ Press Conference (5:00 - 6:00).
  2. Macro Overlay: This is the most critical fundamental divergence of the week. Australia is facing sticky inflation (forcing the RBA to hold at 4.35%), while New Zealand is in a severe corporate winter (forcing the RBNZ to hold dovish at 2.25%).
  3. Pair Impact (AUD/NZD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD):

    1. AUD/NZD: Massive Bullish Catalyst. The +2.10% yield differential will be fundamentally locked in. Look for aggressive institutional buying on any dips.
    2. NZD/USD: Heavy short. The dovish RBNZ combined with a strong US Dollar will crush the Kiwi.
    3. EUR/AUD: Strong short. The ECB is dovish (2.15%) while the RBA is hawkish (4.35%). Hot AU inflation will send this cross pair lower.

Thursday, May 28: The US Data Dump & CAD Capital Flight

  1. Events: USD Core PCE Price Index m/m & Prelim GDP q/q (15:30), CAD Current Account (15:30).
  2. Macro Overlay: The Fed's preferred inflation gauge (Core PCE) is expected to remain sticky (0.3%), while US GDP remains positive. Simultaneously, Canada's Current Account deficit highlights ongoing capital flight away from the dovish BoC (2.75%).
  3. Pair Impact (USD/CAD & DXY):

    1. USD/CAD: Strong Bullish Breakout. The yield differential (+1.00% favoring the US) and the diverging economic realities will force algorithmic traders to aggressively buy USD/CAD.
    2. DXY: Bullish continuation. Sticky Core PCE will lock in the "Higher for Longer" Fed narrative, draining liquidity from risk assets and supporting the broader Dollar Index.

Friday, May 29: European Stagflation Confirmed

  1. Events: NZD ANZ Business Confidence (4:00), EUR Flash CPIs (France, Germany, Italy, Spain) (9:00 - 12:00), CAD GDP m/m (15:30).
  2. Macro Overlay: Europe will print mixed-to-sticky inflation data, but because their economies are contracting (German Unemployment rising), the ECB cannot hike rates. Meanwhile, Canada's GDP is expected to flatline (0.1%), confirming their domestic slowdown.
  3. Pair Impact (EUR/USD & USD/CAD):

    1. EUR/USD: Bearish continuation. Even if EU inflation is slightly hot, the market knows the ECB is trapped. Capital will continue flowing to the US Dollar.
    2. USD/CAD: Continued bullish pressure into the weekly close as Canadian GDP confirms the BoC's dovish stance.

I haven't read the whole 2244 pages so please forgive me if I am asking a question that has been asked before. Would it be possible to code your method into an EA or such like ? I am always looking for more edge, but I execute exclusively automatically

I think we're all looking for more edge and if Davit was still around he would probably tell you to read all the pages. Why don't you get A.I. to code something for you!

You know why ea is not suitable for these approach: Because these system is tradable in weekly basis and you have enought time to follow the price action eas are for 1 M, 15M max to 1H timeframes...

Sorry gotta disagree with you there. EAs are for automation in general, the time frame is not relevant, both back testing and forward execution. I don't spent my days staring at live charts, my job is strategy design, definition and software development, my computer is about 1 billion times better at back testing and execution than me.

I never share my code, all of my stuff is proprietary, the only audited results I have are on Darwinex you can find my Darwin VRHD, additionally I have my personal spread betting account, which does have all the statements, but I don't really fancy sharing that, year to May 9 my cash account grew by 22%, which is probably understated as I've improved methods and increased the number of algos and leverage since then

1 from the best advices of the David about trading these method was and it will remain is:
Look for trades on pairs wich have red news inside on economic calendar, these because fundamentals move the market not teknical faktors and these areas around ww PP are high propabilites zones, how the ea can manage these issue to ea you can give comand to trade or not news.... any way if there was such a thing trading was about to end for retail tradesrs like us ... That is all have a good day every one from me with these chart

One small reason, personally I don't trade the news, I do trade through it though, it is of course true that it is primarily fundamentals that move the market. The reason most fail is because they don't have a methodical approach to testing and proving an edge before trading, they are looking for get rich quick schemes and are gambling whether they realise it or not

You asked what value an EA can add and the value is, that if you have an entry and exit system which is unambiguously defined then you can execute hands free while you sit on the beach or whatever, and free up time for looking for more strats to add to your portfolio, it also gives you a way of back testing your configuration to gain confidence that you are actually trading with an edge

My friend i have pass thru these years in differen ea's and have not found yet someone that works indipiedently honestly....

You need to learn how to develop them yourself, I have 30 strategies across various instruments and I don't execute any on of them manually, I can literally go on holiday for a couple of weeks and the systems take care of themselves. If you are a newbie to coding I suggest looking at ProRealTime, it has a very simple pascal like language and is easy to get started (there is a free training course), deployment to automatic trading is also a piece of cake on ProRealTime , the gold standard for EAs is of course MT4/5 but the learning curve is steeper to code in MQL4/5. I use both, the majority of my back testing and signal generation is on PRT, but so that I can use multiple brokers I developed a trade copying system which executes on Metatrader 4 or 5
