I watched the first KoF videos in December 2025 and started reading through the thread. I found it interesting to learn about multi-order strategies. So I started an experiment. You have to be as open-minded as a child; you keep falling over when you first try to walk, and then you get back up again.
That’s exactly what happened to me, and with my starting capital of 500, I kept hitting setbacks. I’d briefly climb to 1000 or 1500, then drop back down to 500 and back to square one. In between, I’d constantly analyse my mistakes and got better and better. The experiment is now complete. The last attempt took 44 trading days until I reached the 10,000 target.
This is the result (red), and this was the plan (blue). The plan was 4% per day; I outperformed that by a long way.
What do I do differently from KoF or this thread?
1) I look at all timeframes, not just M1
2) I limit losses
3) I take both counter-trends and trends
4) I don’t hold positions overnight or over the weekend.
5) I don’t need volume indicator.
5) I use all the technical tools I know, i.e. Fibonacci, trend lines, indicators, Elliott waves, pivot points, etc...
Tyross was a particular help to me, reminding me once again of the key principles of low-risk trading. For example, limiting losses is essential.
I underestimated Gringo at first. His posts and screenshots have helped me. He trades in his own way, making very small profits, but it makes sense and you learn something.
Cpfleger also wrote valuable posts and shared interesting attachments. It’s a shame he’s stopped.
Ronin did a good job with the Trade Panel.
Nik and Darwati were and remain an inspiration. Darwati showed me just how valuable AI can be.
Tommiho, thanks for the tip about using Remote on smartphones.
And thanks to the many others, including those who showed me how not to do it ;-)
