reason I asked is because its exact edge of NWOG (new week opening gap) to the pip.

It could have reached it, it was very close, but technically its not needed

Did yall see the liquidity sweep both lows at 1.16921 and 1.16889 got taken out on 15 min timeframe and when you scale down to 5 min timeframe you see a small FVG at 1.16951 to 1.16902 and price is continuously going down (im kinda new to this been doing for like a month srry if my mark ups a wrong)

Got an exit for +2 pips. Exhausting it is… Could go up from here, but not worth the risk with that candle close.

There are certain golden rules when it comes to FVGs, although there are always exceptions, sticking to these golden rules will avoid a lot of headache and keep the account fat!

- FVG need an order-block
-- this order-block can be in form of LTF that is not visible on TF you are using to enter
- Inverted FVG are more sensitive
-- A respected FVG that eventually get violated will flip to inverted, this inverted will be very sensitive
- FVG are desirable in PD array (Premium/discount)
-- measure a swing and above/below the 50% line will give you either premium or discount, you can also use OTE (optimal trade entry fibonacci levels) for better risk control
- Liquidity above/below FVG makes it more desirable
-- If there is liquidity below/above your FVG make the trade much more likely to go in your favor, price like to attack obliquity
- use FVG to target important liquidity pools
-- If you pick an FVG to target an important liquidity pool, the corresponding FVGs will be much more sensitive
- FVG during London/NY session macros are much more sensitive
-- Outside the macros, FVGs are way less sensitive and often not respected

The more of these confluences you apply, the higher chance your trade will succeed, it can go as successful as 90%, however, the more confluences you require, the less frequent the setup will form - but most important, you should back-test and be honest, how often do the FVG fail/give-in and how often do they act sensitive? its not some holy grail or anything, most important is order-flow, once you determine orderflow for the week/day in general, FVGs will act sensitive in the orderflow direction.

This is one of my favorite setups, it can be inverted in regards to lows as well.

A high peak that is important its important if this peak break structure (referencing to the furthest left swing)
- within that swing price create inefficiencies
- Price creates a shallow dent, in this case a high
- Price creates another high, which is lower than previous high
-- This baits retail to use either of lower peaks as stop loss, thus creating a liquidity pool
--- retail knowledge interpret this as bearish momentum and start shorting

X: Price swipes both these highs and reject, absorbing all the resting orders above: forcing an opposing end to be counter to their orders!

NY pre-market session starting in 20 minutes, will look for more valid reason for direction after 8am NY time

came back from the gym and price stuck in the same position.... Not seeing anything interesting, I dont see a clear narrative.

1.1690 low on 5 minute candle, if it breaks with body close, I will short the breaker or closest FVG with SL at the top.

I am not longing this, even though it looks like it wants to go up, I want to clear the weak lows below first before I look for longs.

this low should not break if its bullish, it should use closest OB and continue up attacking further highs.

Terrible price action today.

Unless I have clear bias, daily close with long wick is confusing - it retraced 75% of opening price range,

I want the lows to be taken to feel confident in longing, but I dont wanna short either, because there are no clear targets.

If Tuesday low gets taken, a short targeting last weeks Wednesday's low is a good setup - in that case, today's price action would be just ugly stop hunt
- lets hope Asia provide clear direction
