The Fed and the ECB both maintained interest rates, but USD yields are higher than in Europe. Technically, the USD is supportive, with the DXY currently at 98.115.

Interesting setup on EUR/USD from a COT perspective
right now — but not a clean signal.
EUR COT Index is at 79% (bullish), USD at 6% (bearish)
— so the divergence is there. However, seasonal data
for May is nearly flat at +0.19%, and momentum isn't
aligned yet. Setup Readiness is weak at this stage.
Worth watching into June — seasonal flips to +3.88%
which is historically one of the stronger months for
EUR/USD. COT positioning would need to hold for that
to play out.
Not a trade — just data.

Well, main TL and Fibo are speaking clearly: today's red candle opened right AT the upper D1 downtrend line from Jan 28 (3rd time since, no opens or closes above) and that also happens to be exactly AT the 50% Fibo (Jan thru Mar)... suggesting eu won't close above that upper TL soon... that's just a little too perfect... maybe someone painting a bear trap?

I'm going to buy at 1.17190 not above, I expect the London session to be bullish, creating a lower low and the high I want to attack 1.18 come on

Did you select 1.1730 by eye-balling the 4-hour for a pivot in the "get above stay above; get below stay below" sense or do you have another method? Of course, I am assuming this is a question you would be willing to answer!

BTW: if you did the former, I would say you have a good eye...
