Didn't take any trades today because of FOMC shit. But now looking at buying after a couple of weeks of successful selling. Looks like the NWOG (green box) from April 12th is holding the price, and I'm seeing RSI divergence on the 4H. I may start accumulating buys during Asia.

HMMM, I don't like how this looks, I'm closing my buy trade, maybe I'll buy lower and if it goes up then oh well, I'll just sell then. For now my chart doesn't like what I'm seeing with that bearish pennant, well as I mentioned before I want to add my technical and fundamental thoughts for this Wednesday.

  1. To start, the DXY broke through the 99.785 resistance and will very likely attempt to reach 99.467 so that gives me a point to be bearish, plus if the war continues this gives it more strength due to what I previously mentioned about inflation, oil and the dollar as a safe haven asset.
  2. Well from there the euro just crossed a 200 period EMA which in my opinion I expect a bounce between 1.16500 and 1.16400, this because it needs to come back as a retracement, so I'm waiting for that retracement to sell more, I wanted to buy it but meh I didn't like what I was seeing at the moment so I closed the sell with +24 pips so all good
  3. The FED just left interest rates the same so, well no changes and the dollar stays strong
  4. Ah but of course they dropped a hint that the next rates could be lowered so we'll see, maybe that's where the euro starts to strengthen again to bullish around mid May
  5. I would like the daily candle to close above 98.940 giving the clear signal that we're heading for 99.467
  6. The euro BIAS keeps decreasing, it's now at 21 pips

My recommendation is to only sell the retracements, don't sell at 1.16500 and 1.16400, it could maybe fall to 1.16200 but man that seems tough, it would have to be a very beautiful drop, but well you know here anything can happen! 2 more hours for price to start moving faster, in the meantime I'm going to have a beer, Cheers!

We do have a potential buy on EURUSD towards 1.16988 then a huge drop to the 4hr demand

The USD tends to strengthen after the Fed decided to keep interest rates unchanged at 3.505-3.75%. US bond yields rise, stocks tend to fall, and the USD strengthens. Today, the ECB is expected to maintain interest rates due to inflation remaining above target, due to the impact of surging energy prices.

The bearish move downwards was a stop hunt.
the other low i mentioned days ago got surpassed but technically the hourly close didnt close below it btw

price currently 1.1678, buy with a tight stop of like 25 pips below the low and you will make a lot of money.

target 1.7455 for a very good RR, although i think price will go far father than that

Daily watch level is 1.1674. possible retest
From an H4 perspective, 1.1660 is the key pivot favoring longs above and shorts below. Staying reactive at these levels.
