Well I'm pretty sure I said I'd never use them, and I know I didn't want to lol. I felt similar regarding 1 minute candles, but I have used those for a while now. When you see a filled 1 minute candle move up x pips, and then the next one also filled but down and moving a similar number of pips, it's clear I'm needing to stretch out the horizontal scope to see the moves inbetween. I thought about trying to use x seconds charts, but why delay the inevitable on this matter? If I ended up at 1 minute charts from 15, I'd get to ticks eventually.
Does anyone have any tick chart-specific advice for someone beginning to dive in to the most-price-info-you-can-possibly-get-on-a-chart world? :-)
Right now I'm sort of eyeballing what amounts to a moving average cross-over trading method, and I'm not really looking for how someone system-trades (per se) a tick chart. But if there are any good general tick-tips out there, I'd appreciate the info.
Take care!
