99.60 = Intraday Flip Level (DXY)

  1. Controls short-term direction
  2. Not the main structure, but critical for momentum

In simple terms:

  1. Below 99.60 = USD weakness
  2. Above 99.60 = USD maintains strength

DXY remained above 99.60, so EURUSD has moved lower.
But price is now directly in R 99.80-100
So we have:
= compression / decision point on both DXY and EURUSD.

R: 1.1530 – 1.1540
Price is below resistance (green line)

Above 1.1530 (close + hold):
CHOCH UP shift → long

The EUR/USD pair traded lower near 1.1500 once again after failing to break above 1.1571 yesterday.

Increased volatility is expected this Tuesday, with the pair threatening to break the 1.1491 support level. If this occurs, the price may head lower toward 1.1443 or 1.1411. Conversely, if an upside move occurs above the 1.1553 and 1.1571 resistance levels, then the 1.1600/13, 1.1640, or 1.1667 targets might be tested.

I will be looking for another entry to go short. Linear regression still sloping down with Lower Highs even with the contraction going on for several days. This global situation with oil and nukes could very well be the straw that breaks the E/U into a freefall... ? US Economy is doing exactly what Orange Man said it would do. (Not getting Political). Just stating facts. We have some very hardheaded Bulls this morning ignoring the Global Picture. I am not one of them today.

The noise should clear at some time and with a good daily/weekly close and cautious management eu could offer a good trade/s.

Looks to me like MM's have been rebalancing order book against the Bull traps from yesterday. On my third short off the triple top in the past couple of hours. Smallish position with a stop loss just in case they get fancy and spike it up.

DXY bounced off R 99.80-100, which pushed EURUSD higher.
